1) take a deep breather before you get in you stance. It releases tension in your shoulders, lowers heart rate, and helps mentally reset 2) pick a side to pass asap. Get your platform outside of your body either to your left or right. This will tell your body how to react from that point on. 3) track the ball with your hip. If you were to move your arms out of the way the ball should hit you in the hip. That’s how you know you have gotten the correct depth.
