You've literally just hit the nail in the head! Went to halfords today, saw this bike, and went straight into UA-cam. A perfect vid that mate well done and thanks for taking the time to post 👍👏
I've got a friend with the old 3rd gen CX motor and he has had so many issues with it. 3 motors in 2 years and less than 1500 miles in total. kinda put me off them to be honest. Bearings kept breaking on rides.
@@KnightsTechUk they all have some problems even the E7000 and E8000 you pay your money and take your chance just dont get too hung up on problems just ride and enjoy dont jet wash your bike
Got the bike and as u say its a great bike.I did however get the 7000 motor, why because it's the latest and it's smaller so looks better. No issues with power or distance.
@@KnightsTechUk Is £3k for this bike really classed as a bargain? Its £2999 on Halfords.. I'm a noob at biking so it could well be classed as cheap. If it is cheap for this bike can you please specify why? Thanks
@@Soarific i got the bike for £2300 when it was on sale and that is VERY cheap for a bike with a 500w battery with the top of the range E8000 motor. The spec of the bike is great even for £3000! i know what you mean it seems like a lot of money but in terms of ebikes this is a great value! 5 months 2000 miles later and the bike has been amazing!
Hi, I’m so glad you did this review, I’ve bought one myself, I’ve done a couple of reviews myself, and I was unsure of the e7000 e8000 motor, it is a fab bike,
Knights TechUk got the e8000, I’ve checked with Halfords, the bike app when you connect and if you turn the bike upside down, look through the motor casing you can see e8000, love this bike, I’ve only had mine a couple of weeks, need to get it downhill now.
The reason I ask is some charge quicker than others. I wanted to see if the charger is the same on both e8000/e7000 motors obviously I know the batteries are the same.
That is what I did - Found this bike on Halfords website, Hmmmm, I need to You-Tube it - got here :))))) Thanks for this review - now i'm sure i want this bike.
Hi, currently this bike is showing as £3000 on the Halfords website, whereas you managed to purchase it closer to the £2000 mark. Should I wait for this bike to come back down in price? Wouldn't want to be ripped off!
I got the same bike, but with the weaker/newer motor. It is my 4th ebike since 2011 and so far the best. Although it has least NM than the rest it feels the smoothest and the most powerful one and with the lightest battery. The other ones I currently have are Giant Full-E + 1 with Yamaha (my2017) and Focus Thron with Impulse Evo RS (my 2016) and huge 602wh battery. I agree that the charger is terribly slow and I burned the rear disk on my 1st ride (10min downhill). Everything else is worth each penny.
Knights TechUk great I pick mine up on Saturday I’m 5.11 went for the 18inch. Just found a voodoo zobop e group on Facebook which has some good advice. 👍🏻
@@delwynandrews8719 it will be perfect for you! it had a dropper seat so there is loads of adjustment on the go. Knights TechUk I’m not sure what version I’m getting I’m lucky to be getting one at all they are sold out everywhere. I’m having to travel a couple of hours. But it’s worth it for the savings. I was going to but a Cannondale Moterra Neo 5 which is not as good spec as the voodoo and it’s £3500. It just shows Evan with bike you pay for the name 👍🏻
I get a whole day on the bike and can get 50 miles to a charge in ECO mode. Boost mode I get about 20 miles. I think the range is amazing! Also its worth noting I've now down nearly 2500 trouble free miles on the bike :)
After having a 20KG none eletric bike, I kinda got tired of heavy bikes and bought a Voodoo Bizango Carbon. Forgive me for my ignorance but why would you get a e-bike instead of a motorbike? Surely, the best way to do it is get a light weight MTB and a motorobike?

this could be my best comment ever! nice one mate! The bike is amazing, done 2000 miles and it has been perfect! The battery still holds 99% of charge as well! enjoy the bike! p.s I hate all these "professional youtubers" well shot videos, stupid over used drone shots, that bloody samey music overlay all does my head in" my channel will always be rough and ready.
Is it not to early to do review? 200 miles is like 4-5 trips. I’ve done 1600miles from January and I never ever thought about making review? I think you need to ride a full season to review any bike. After 200 miles you can review your seat, handlebars and helmet. But I just spotted ‘unprofessional’ 😂😂😂 sorry now I understand.

Are they still functional with a flat battery or is it impossible to ride lol?
If your on a high soy diet then yes extremely difficult
If your eating your chicken and broccoli not a problem it's a breeze battery or no battery
Did you buy this bike from halfords?
yes mate
£2300 🤷🏼♂️ how lol it's £3000 everywhere!!!
I'm wondering this...
Would get one ASAP if it was nearer 2k, finding that extra bit is hard for me as always unexpected stuff in life like car or van repairs extra
Still 3£k in Halfords ant found same bike on different website?
ace vid
thank you!
