i love this game but body uppercuts and step back cheesers and the fact that when youre rocked you can move faster than your opponent make me pretty upset
I'm with you here. I would rather play local than online. The fights would always go the distance. Knockouts are exciting and they were few and far between. I want a create a boxer and career modes. They also need more licensed heavyweights.
The thing that really keeps me from playing is the lack of a create fighter ability and career. The boxing itself is good enough for me, but definitely has room for improvement.
Well yea, undisputed is a new game from the ground up. Did u play the beta? UFC 5 is about as much of a new game as Madden 23 vs Madden 24. It's a reskin with a few changes.

I still check in every now to see how the patches effect the game. But honestly it’s not there for me yet and doesn’t keep me playing. Still rooting for the team and hoping they can get it there to be that fun addictive boxing game along the lines of classic fight nights. Don’t get me wrong I want a more realistic boxing game but it still has to be a blast to play.

exactly man your exactly right. when Undisputed is fully released most bugs will be cleared im pretty sure and also dropping career mode which is going to be one of the best parts i dont play the game much only for fridays ofcourse haha but especially i dont do online as you said people cheating and all that is a big cause for it im just so excited for when undisputed fully releases

Ultimately I got this game because of you, I like you enjoy offline play but our fight a few weeks ago was a lot of fun. Too bad that we got de-synched on the live stream though. Maybe a rematch is needed 😊. Keep up the great content!
In Fight Night on XBox are 2000 online playing.i hope that this Game becomes more when it comes to the Console . I love this Game and I hope that they bring the Career Mode fast.
I play it every now and then. The cheaters just make you not want to play online and the Connection issues. They need to go ahead and add a single player mode. But I know it's gonna take time. I think it will get better over time but it's gonna take a little longer
When SCI doesn't put out a update in 2 months and blocks Boxing Fanatico from talking about the game. It's really strange to me, before EA we got more news and information about the game. Now the ai is broken, and the roundtable's never talk about Customization, Create a Fighter or Career Mode. I'm starting to think they might need to merge with another studio to help them out with the things that are slowing them down.

I really didn't understand the whole hiring Fanatico for him to not be able to talk about the game thing. I used to tune in to his updates, and it would get me hyped up for the game. He was giving them free promo and actually preaching to everyone for patience at the same time. I felt like I knew what was going on with the game back then, even tho I was aware it would be a while before release. For them to have taken away the games biggest promoter seems like such a backwards move. Now I rarely see anything pop up online about the game, and when I do see things it's usually negative. This has ruined the hype in my opinion Don't get me wrong I'll be hyped for the game and buy it as soon as it drops on consoles, but is that even going to happen in 2024 now? I'm not convinced?

I spent years hyped up for this game but then they ruined the whole thing with that one change. And why? So punches "looked better" to the player. Awesome, glad the punches look better. Shame I'm getting spammed with body punches now that you made them look better...
It isn't a skill issue, it's a game mechanics change that permanently altered the gameplay and the experience everyone has while playing the game. I have no interest in spamming body uppercut and claiming to have skills in boxing when I win matches through cheese and stupidity. I watch people spam punches every single round, in loose footwork, never too gassed to easily move around the opponent. The game started out so promising and then it just ruined all the progress while also breaking the promises. You hate to see it. Get better at your conversations and critical thinking, you're making yourself look bad...
I've never played Fortnight and I never will. Clearly you don't understand the difference between physics-based punches versus animations of punches. ESBC was going to be a true boxing experience, and instead we are getting Undisputed, which is just a laggy, choppy knockoff of a Fight Night game. Oh, and I'm probably old enough to be your dad. I play it a lot against CPU. Very much waiting on Career mode. I loved Fight Night but idc too much about online. For me the desync killed this game. I'm only interested in online and when both players see a completely different outcome on their screen, there's no point in playing.
When it’s done and on consoles it’ll have another surge. They showed what they had before it was done and kept us waiting. Basically forced to give us an unfinished product.
The only reason I haven’t played this game is because it’s not on console. The last boxing game I’ve ever played was fight night champions, and I haven’t seen a great boxing game since.
Punches still feel like the boxers are having a pillow fight, trying to do a combo and one of the hooks just slow down due to "arm fatigue" which is annoying. UFC 4 had the implementation down perfectly in terms of throwing more than one of the same punch or jab etc. They definitely need to improve upon certain areas before releasing this officially because right now, it just seems boring and doesn't manage to grasp my interest for a longer period of time.
Arm fatigue is a real thing, which undisputed was supposed to be. Many people wanted a simulation boxing game, but complain once it has simulation features.

At first I was a big fan of the rags doll mechanic because it looks well when executed right, however looking at where it is now makes the game feel sloppy and outdated
Online play is ruined for me for the amount of hackers saturating the game. I run into so many it makes the game not fun. I still play every other day. They have a long way to go before full release. If they can get the hacker situation under control, they may actually have a future.
Nowadays, i only install and play the game when there is an update. The first thing i always do is go to vs CPU and throw a jab and after seeing how bad the punching form is, i immediately uninstall the game.
I personally gave up on it. Waiting for Bloody knuckles street boxing. Had a taste for it and now I am dying to play again. Undisputed changed once it changed from ESBC. I bet ESBC was so dope and then it became a bum fest ....
Unfortunately the development team was told over and over that they had no idea about boxing… they didn’t listen and the game plays like it was made by someone who only watched Rocky 2. They even hire a guy called “boxing fanatic “ that had 0 clue about boxing..

But when they signed the exclusive rights to majority of sports games that’s when they had the monopoly of sports games. Look at NBA Live and NBA 2K. Huge difference right? EA NBA Live dropped off because they couldn’t compete. Don’t get me wrong, I still buy the EA sports games, because it’s really the only thing out there. I just hope Undisputed doesn’t fall into the trap. It does look promising.

I can’t stand how you can stand infront of someone and 85% of the punches you throw just glance off the block and do nothing, you can rock someone and chase them with vicious combos and nothing connects. It’s soo piss poor there’s issues everywhere and it doesn’t feel competitive in the slightest, I’ve got 6k fights on ufc 4 online and it feels like 💩 in comparison to ufc. ALSO the desync is worse than any game I’ve ever played, multiple occasions where I’m 5ft out of range and I’m taking head and body damage from punches through thin air. The desync has never ever been fixed to this day and it’s not worth playing the game over
I'm loving this game. Im 62-22-3 currently and more than halfway to undisputed now. Just learning about body upper cut spamming and the step back straight lol. Maybe i should start employing that. Any tips for Fury fighters? I wanna be the very best like no one ever was.
anyone else having problems with matches me and some friends joined each others lobby’s 1v1 each other and have been experiencing very different things on screen. Like the matches aren’t even the same match, on my screen I clearly combo’d my friend up and he fell on the canvas but on his screen I didn’t touch him and he still fell failing to beat the count. It’s frustrating because we can’t tell who’s the better player and who’s side of the match is accurate
i was really hyped for this game back when the beta dropped i played it and man the game was so bad movement was horrible punches feel like there is no inpacked the biggest turn off was the movement it felt like i was stuck in mud i dnot know if the game is any better now but watching gameplay form it it dousnt hype me up anymore after that.

This game is so broke. I go from dominating round to round countering my opponent with almost every shot they take and i end up getting knock down somehow. I get hit through my damn guard the whole fight. This shit is sickening because all you have to do is pick a certain fighter and you can spam your way to a win. pathetic
I've just decided NOT to buy this game based on this video. Loma is a southpaw for goodness sakes. If they are getting something like this wrong, how can I trust their game engine on anything. This is just portraits of your favorite boxers thrown into a graphicly modern video game with nothing realistic to sink your teeth into. Ryan knocking down Loma was almost as bad. I'm back to TBB.

I just wanna have a chance to play career mode on my Xbox but they haven’t brought it to console and they haven’t even released career mode. It can be a game that everybody wants to play but they won’t do the big things that could make this game exciting
When i first heard that someone was making a new boxing i was massively hyped. I really wanted to like this game but unfortunately it just sucks imo. The gameplay is ass, the movement is sluggish, the punches suck. The biggest issue is that i don't feel like i have full control over the fighter. I played the game when it first came out and didn't like it. People said "it's a new game, give the devs time to improve". I just tried it again 8 months later and it still sucks. It's just too rigid and sluggish. Unfortunately i don't think it's salvageable. The core gameplay just lacks the fluidity necessary for a good boxing sim. There's too many things wrong with it. I've written this game off now. I'd rather play FNC than this. I'm hoping EA will release a new Fight Night because this game missed the mark big time. It's a dud.

I'm still having fun but the gap between early beta and full release is killing all momentum.
I am also an offline player...still play it for the daily challenges but that has gotten stale as well...waiting for the career mode...

Nowadays, i only install and play the game when there is an update. The first thing i always do is go to vs CPU and throw a jab and after seeing how bad the punching form is, i immediately uninstall the game.
I personally gave up on it. Waiting for Bloody knuckles street boxing. Had a taste for it and now I am dying to play again. Undisputed changed once it changed from ESBC. I bet ESBC was so dope and then it became a bum fest ....
I loved the old name. Reminded me of a respected local gym. I wish they went back to the old name
Unfortunately the development team was told over and over that they had no idea about boxing… they didn’t listen and the game plays like it was made by someone who only watched Rocky 2. They even hire a guy called “boxing fanatic “ that had 0 clue about boxing..
Whats up RIcky. Im not sure if you remember me but we fought last time you did undisputed! That was around the time i stopped playing. The game has SOOOO many issues that my review for the game ended up being a paragraph or two long. They change things for the worst every update.
Just waiting on a career mode and character customization will see what happens , uppercuts to the body are basically are almost impossible to block.
I gave up on it after playing 200 hours of ranked. Just too messed up. Devs not even addressing the network issues.

I did some boxing at KSU in the 70's. I still love the sport. The graphics are very good. Do you still recommend the game and what controller?
I was so hyped for this and played the hell out of fight night but man I totally forgot about Undisputed since it came out
It’s still in my wishlist just cuz idk how I’m gonna feel about it and I don’t wanna spend the money unless I know it’s gonna be something I wanna play a lot
I heard so many great things about this game from other gamers. This looks like an arcade style game. I see potential, but looks like all other EA sports games.

@@JM-qn3tf it’s true. When EA had competitors like 2K and ESPN, EA was up on its game. But when they signed the exclusive rights to majority of sports games that’s when they had the monopoly of sports games. Look at NBA Live and NBA 2K. Huge difference right? EA NBA Live dropped off because they couldn’t compete. Don’t get me wrong, I still buy the EA sports games, because it’s really the only thing out there. I just hope Undisputed doesn’t fall into the trap. It does look promising.

I never bothered with it, I'm waiting for the campaign to come out and see what that looks like but I don't have any interest in playing online boxing games.

thats what i always say..control yout hype. whenever i see comments like in UFC5 now, like " cant wait to play" "will platinum the game" "24/7 stream" bal bla bla thats when i dont see nothing to come to the game when everyone is normal.
Fight night round 3 on ps3 was the GOAT.
it just proves EA or any other dev team right that making a boxing game would not be profitable
The game hasn't even been released on console yet so I'm really disappointed already that at this rate where never gonna see a release
The truth is that fight night round 3 from 2005 is levels above an plays better on a PS3

I can’t stand how you can stand infront of someone and 85% of the punches you throw just glance off the block and do nothing, you can rock someone and chase them with vicious combos and nothing connects. It’s soo piss poor there’s issues everywhere and it doesn’t feel competitive in the slightest, I’ve got 6k fights on ufc 4 online and it feels like 💩 in comparison to ufc. ALSO the desync is worse than any game I’ve ever played, multiple occasions where I’m 5ft out of range and I’m taking head and body damage from punches through thin air. The desync has never ever been fixed to this day and it’s not worth playing the game over

I'm loving this game. Im 62-22-3 currently and more than halfway to undisputed now. Just learning about body upper cut spamming and the step back straight lol. Maybe i should start employing that. Any tips for Fury fighters? I wanna be the very best like no one ever was.
Did you notice yet that most of your fights are really desynchs and both players see a different result?
anyone else having problems with matches me and some friends joined each others lobby’s 1v1 each other and have been experiencing very different things on screen. Like the matches aren’t even the same match, on my screen I clearly combo’d my friend up and he fell on the canvas but on his screen I didn’t touch him and he still fell failing to beat the count. It’s frustrating because we can’t tell who’s the better player and who’s side of the match is accurate

i was really hyped for this game back when the beta dropped i played it and man the game was so bad movement was horrible punches feel like there is no inpacked the biggest turn off was the movement it felt like i was stuck in mud i dnot know if the game is any better now but watching gameplay form it it dousnt hype me up anymore after that.

Reaction and animations are not there yet or missing.its gotten better but when being hit every time the hoxers head moves back or flinch to the side.thats unreqlstic and nakes the game feel like rock em sock em robots
I think they've just lost their momentum with this game it had loads of hype in the past few years but its come out on early release and i hope im wrong but i think they've gone as far as they can with it ( fingers crossed im wrong )
I hope u are too but to me this is the problem with early access. Most times they kind of peter out and quietly release without much real improvement after the initial hype.
Can’t have put all that work into it and let it fall now. Will have to be improved with updates. Hope people stick around.
This game is so broke. I go from dominating round to round countering my opponent with almost every shot they take and i end up getting knock down somehow. I get hit through my damn guard the whole fight. This shit is sickening because all you have to do is pick a certain fighter and you can spam your way to a win. pathetic
stopped playing the game punches just dont feel real no difference in landing a jab and power punches
honestly i just play quick matches not ranked is how to avoid hackers ... alot of my fights still go the distance
Lomanchenko wasnt teleporting behind you so it was definitely proven that the game made him up as a generic fighter.

I've just decided NOT to buy this game based on this video. Loma is a southpaw for goodness sakes. If they are getting something like this wrong, how can I trust their game engine on anything. This is just portraits of your favorite boxers thrown into a graphicly modern video game with nothing realistic to sink your teeth into. Ryan knocking down Loma was almost as bad. I'm back to TBB.
still no career mode, no online progression, body spammers galore... Devs need to hurry if they're to save this game from dying
step 1 ; go online and play a match . oponent 1 ; noob uses tyson fury and runs all game with twice the speed ali can . oponent 2 ; noob uses usyk or holmes and can keep punching none stop , you cant even see wich punches land and he dont get tired and you lose . step 2; delete the game
They need to drop this on console they missing out on a lot of customers

I just wanna have a chance to play career mode on my Xbox but they haven’t brought it to console and they haven’t even released career mode. It can be a game that everybody wants to play but they won’t do the big things that could make this game exciting

When i first heard that someone was making a new boxing i was massively hyped. I really wanted to like this game but unfortunately it just sucks imo. The gameplay is ass, the movement is sluggish, the punches suck. The biggest issue is that i don't feel like i have full control over the fighter.
I played the game when it first came out and didn't like it. People said "it's a new game, give the devs time to improve". I just tried it again 8 months later and it still sucks. It's just too rigid and sluggish. Unfortunately i don't think it's salvageable. The core gameplay just lacks the fluidity necessary for a good boxing sim. There's too many things wrong with it. I've written this game off now. I'd rather play FNC than this. I'm hoping EA will release a new Fight Night because this game missed the mark big time. It's a dud.
