- Hy There,
In this video i will assemble my new workbench from unior, unior is well known slovenian brand who produce professional hand dools and workshop equipment.
Workbench come out really nocely, heavy, solid and strong, more than i think it will be, also tool cariage and vice are awesome.
Unior hand tools really got amazing products, the only cons of that brand is that price is a bit high for home use, but afterall it's a professional tool.

Love Unior tools, discovered them by accident when I needed a bike tool, now I don’t use anything else on my bikes
Once while working somewhere here in Spain I saw a Unior screwdriver but didn't knew that was a Slovenian brand, was cool to know it.
That workbench seems rock solid and looks superb 👍... but man, that vise is really gorgeous 😍
Yup unior is Slovenian brand, 103 years old, i remember as a kid they got yelow handles, before that they make brown handles, even before there was raw steel handles, that blue/gray become their known colour about 15years ago, and then they start producing that 3 component handle (blue, gray, black) wich is really awesome, i didn't held a screwdriver to get such a grip as on unior, + quality is amazing, the only cons is price, if they don't offer me a good discount i would pay more than 3 salary for all that stuff, for example single screwdriver cost about 10€, vice like here over 200€...
@@TinC33 still have a set of the old Unior translucent brown handled super shiny chrome nutdrivers and a few others screwdrivers including some rebranded Hazet and Gedore made by Unior plus a couple ratchets, some 127 LSi wrenches, a few big sockets and quite a lot of very nicely made bike tools. the only gripe i have is the plastic selectors on the ratchets heads. Slovenia is among of the best tool-making countries and it gets better with each new iteration. except those pesky plastic direction levers on ratchets of course! 😋
did mention the totally out of place and easily broken plastic levers on otherwise very fine ratchets? 😏
Christmas came early.
super! En je naredil čeljusti iz 3D printa, za upogibanje 2 mm debelega jekla. Tak za idejo če boš probal, bi rad videl.
Sem vidu enkat nekaj takega ja, bom probal ob priliki ko bom rabl kaj.
unior make quality tools for decades and their products can be easily compared to top german brands etc (maybe even better in some departments). too bad they are not that good in modern marketing/branding (as in slovenia, as abroad, at least in eu), at least that's my opinion as a slovenian. also their pricing could be a bit lower since it id probably better to buy tools outside domestic market, which is a shame really.
step they took with this diy videos etc is in right direction, but they should target wider audience here as well. so many people is getting into diy, restorations etc (specialy after corona, when everybody starts doing something in their basements or garages) that they should grab opportunity with both hands, market is growing rapoidly. i realy don't understand, why they dont invest in this things more or at least in way, it would be more effective.
you're right, but as i see last few years they changed they marketing, specially in bike tool category there are lot of downhill drivers promoting their tool, i was quite surprized when contact them and they were fully interested and gave me great price, otherwise i couldn't affort or need 3 salary to buy that.
is this workshop on an appartment?
It's in one of room in second floor in my house wich got 3 floors 😉
Always curious on how pricing compares around the world - how much was that A7 roughly?
It cost about 1550e wich is very good salary in Slovenija, how much it cost in your state?
@@TinC33 uff, that price is no joke
@@sukaloif you want a good joke, check what Snap-on charges for the same kind of tools and storage solutions... 😅
Price not salary
