I was watching a Spanish language vlog by a Bolivian UA-camr and he was saying something about how it’s said you’re not a true Bolivian unless you can eat a salteña without spilling a drop haha
To eat a salteña correctly open it from one side and try to drink the excess of stock as if you were drinking from a glass then you can start eating it using the spoon if you want or eat it directly using your hand.
Glad that they are making vegetarian saltenas.!!!! If you only knew the ingredients of the regular ones.....believe me you would switch.!!!! And i totally agree with you. That the food is INCREDIBLE GOOD!!!! Also dont forget that beautiful snow covered Illimani. It iluminates the city year round. Just drooling at all the excellent food you are enjoying.!!!!
Yes, you are supposed to take a bite of the salteña, then drink from it as it was a cup, then eat your way around the dough without spilling - eat, drink, eat a little more etc. and try not to spill a single drop 🩷
I believe Sucre is only the constitutional capital and La Paz is the administrational capital... 😅 it seems to be very confusing so we just went with it
