I love this video. It was very interesting to see your take on the Boeing 777, because I was on a Tripple 7, too, from Seattle to Heathrow last April, only I was on British Airways. You were lucky that your plane had so many empty seats. The planes I was on were full going to the UK and back. But the crews were so nice. Your dinner looked delicious. I'm sorry that the crew was like that, there is really no excuse for behaving like that. And it's not like they had a whole lot of people to deal with. I was wondering if you were able to get any sleep on that flight? I wasn't. Everyone was crammed in there like sardines in a tin can. But that's economy. I enjoyed the flights anyway, because I love to fly. Thanks for your review.
Thanks again Gwen for watching. Yes I was pleasantly surprised with the food, chicken was really nice and did manage to get a little shut eye but it helps when the flight is at night for sure. I always look forward to flying and the experience and to be honest the crew were pleasant enough just not that in to it in my opinion. Couldn't fault the operation though.
Yes I did but I opted for the price that included one bag. Generally the flight was good comfortable and on time and entertainment system had a wide selection of offerings. I just felt it met expectations and didn’t stand out as anything unique compared to others. Plane was also on time which was good. Hope that helps.
Silly question, but were you in main cabin? I have got a flight booked soon and they advised me they won’t serve me beers/wine/spirits as I’m main cabin? If I want complimentary, I should pay £100 more for main cabin “extra”? Never known an international flight making you pay for a beverage? It’s very confusing and my first time flying solo, any advice would be appreciated
Hi, yes I was in the main cabin. Wow I too have never heard that before and it certainly was not on my flight. Looking at American Airlines website that may now be the case only soft drinks free. My advice would be under no circumstances pay that it’s not worth it. Have a drink before you fly if need be at the airport (although mortgage still required to afford it), when I’m travelling solo I don’t tend to drink too much to be honest so I can focus on getting to where I need to be safely. That said you might be able to purchase an alcoholic drink on the flight at a price of course. Anyway good for you for going on a solo journey, it’s great fun and the Americans I found are always friendly. stay safe and have a great trip!
Thanks for making this video! I'm taking this very same flight in a few days time and haven't flown American before so it gives me a good idea as what to expect. I can only hope my flight is as empty as yours though haha
Hi I believe that is plenty of time however I would suggest doing a little research to plan your options from getting to terminal 3 from 5 and the route and you should have no problems. Have a great and safe journey!
I enjoyed the video. The 777 is one of my favorites. I’ve been on one before. I love hearing the engines on takeoff 🛫 especially in person: 👍
Same here!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Hi. I have a connecting flight from MUMBAI to DALLAS via Heathrow. Is 1.45 hrs enough for changing from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3. Is it enough.
