What's a bit longer here cause these two need to get together already cause not only are they good together on the show but you can see that they have a real life work relationship, they like working together you can see it here how they interact and if the storyline has them keep tip toeing around each other it becomes awkward and I'd hate to see them have less time together on screen.
Probably like 1 or 2 more episodes we have had the sidney fling now we need the other guy from the other fire station. Got a feeling it will go into season 10 for them actually to be a couple but hope im wrong

I beilieve Brett will have her fling with the Lt. Cause she saw Casey with Sydney so she will have her fling then realize she's in love with Casey, and like Casey said she'll realize being with anyone they lose makes it worse and they will end up together at least I'm hopen they will

Also, not a single hint of body language in this interview indicated them “flirting”. I can’t believe you don’t have the basic courtesy to realize that both Kara and Jesse are just being considerate and smiling at each other to show that they are listening to what each other are saying and agreeing and reassuring each other. Kara is also known to be a funny and jokester person, hence making the facial expressions that she did in this video. That’s what you call responding politely to social cues, learn your basic manners.
