With 0DTE options you must be quick and ask question later. I'm OK with losing 50% of the premium to make 10X (or more on a trade). Also waiting for "confirmations" is not the right play with options, as you've noticed the premium goes exponentially higher pretty quick and confirmation will greatly reduce the EV or reward increasing risk. Buying DOTM seems like gambling but is not on a ticker above $1000 in price on the expiration day.

How to decide when to exit the options? (70%+) based on measured move? “Only take it out when it hit xx” or take profit along the way?
It’s so tempting to take profit along the 10x+ moves, on other hand If it did get a bounce, it could come right back down in 0DTE

I was speaking with John and you should close the options at the same spot you would close the trade on the stock regardless of how much % your up on the position. Easier said than done but that’s the frame work for that trade!
