  • In this video I am making a minimalistic one string guitar from a broomstick and lipstick telecaster guitar pickup. This guitar is played with a bottleneck slide. It is inspired from the early blues roots days!
    Tools and materials I propose:
    Miter box: amzn.to/2pIkscc
    Chisel set: amzn.to/2pILO1B
    Electric guitar strings: amzn.to/2C5hNRe
    Guitar tuning pegs: amzn.to/2zYxiJ3
    Output jack: amzn.to/2IRrzaF
    Lipstick pick up: amzn.to/2pRlfHQ
    Wire stripper: amzn.to/2pQMn9y
    Soldering iron kit: amzn.to/2QM95Lx
    Disclosure: Some of the links below are affiliate links, meaning, that at no cost to you, I get a small commission if you click through and make a purchase.

    Cool. Seams like it doesn't matter what comes into your hands, you are able to build some kind of instrument out of it. Very creative.

    Great job Dimitris, and really entertaining vid. An old pal of mine and I made a diddly bow a few years ago. He was a great guitar player but had never made anything before - we had the greatest day of fun ever. And he played the living daylights out of that thing! This really reminded of that super day. Thanks so much mate.

      All you need, honestly, is a bit of wood, a couple of screws, a guitar string and some kind of resonator like a glass bottle or a can. Start with that and work your way up to something like this.

    • @h3lblad3
      @h3lblad3 5 років тому +2

      Only need a few things to get started on woodworking. A hand saw of some sort, a chisel set, a hand planer, and some sandpaper. All the fancy power tools exist to make it easier, but people built instruments a thousand years ago and never once plugged in a power tool.
