I got certified with Security + and the CISSP as a means of jump starting a career in Cyber Security. Unfortunately, in my case, it didn't help as all the interviews I went on seemed to concentrate heavily on the Network and network skills like the Cisco certifications. After several of these interviews, I was asking myself if the companies I am interviewing with want excellent Network skills, then why advertise for a security position....post the position instead as a Network position with Cisco certifications like the CCNA as a requirement. After several disheartening interview sessions, I have decided to look elsewhere besides IT Security for a career path.
Unfortunately, security+ is an entry level cert and it doesn't teach you anything practical, and the CISSP is a management level cert for a high-level non-technical role. Neither were going to prepare you to pass a security interview where they expect you to have practical experience. Also, security is very much about understanding what you are securing. One of the things this video does a good job in getting right, is that you need to have a thorough understanding of networking, operating systems, cloud and infrastructure before moving into security. How did you even take the CISSP, one of the requirements is 5 years exp (which you can substitute with other certs, but a sec+ shouldn't cut it).
Can you make a video about future of accountants and auditors, also ways they can boost their profile. Keeping in mind the changes in technology and future
I believe Simplilearn PGP has helped me directly to onboard new clients. I put my certification on Linkedin and created a perception that I take cybersecurity very seriously which helped me get new projects.
Great video but I think the avarage salaries are over exhadurated. I am interested in cyber security but when it comes to statistics teaching companies are a bit inaccurate. It happens every time they want to attract you to learn something just like the universities. They start off by saying that there is a huge demand for this job in the industry and you will be high paid straightaway. You have to be very specific and professional in what you do besides the `relevant experience` which is around 5 to 10 years to get to this level I suppose.

Hi. I'm an IT student and yes you can become an ethical hacker or work in the networking field without learning how to program. However, your performance will be lower and limited comparing to someone else who knows programming.
Also, it's good that you have a background in Python and C since they're the most important languages for hacking (in addition to other languages of course like sql, php, ect..).
