Looks like you fascinated by the safety lines and mechanism on the life boat set up, all good stuff, carry on cruising you two and have fun
Never call a ship a boat!!! A ship carries boats!😂 Yes the life rafts have a type of release cord which is very long so that the raft only inflates when it is in the water. 👍
Reggy, are you an engineer? You seemed to be interested in a lifeboat or rather, its mechanism. This may have been the problem when I boarded Ambassador’s Ambience which couldn’t sail in Dec ‘22. She had an issue with a lifeboat or moreover its station to bring it down to water when we needed. June of London
