- At the request of quite a few people as of late, I present to you a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the SNES version of Aladdin.
This was a game I had rented many times as a kid. Disney and Capcom worked very well together, and their games were always amazing. I have to say though that the game was a lot easier than I remember. It was almost a perfect run, but then I get hit by the freaking final boss once....I was quite annoyed at that...But at least I got all the red gems.
Jeremy(Saikyomog) passed away 02/20/15. Everyone please see Saikyomog A Dad's Remembrance ua-cam.com/video/JW2JXL2erLw/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/t-seAIeu3Og/v-deo.html.
We have kept open a Guest Book for anyone who wishes to make a comment regarding Jeremy. Eventually this will be put together in a keepsake book. www.legacy.com/guestbooks/greenbaypressgazette/jeremy-soncrant-condolences/174206022?&eid=sp_gbupdate
SaikyoMog pleas how i Weel teleshargé this game un thé taplate pleas telle me
1993 :)
This was the year that we still had MS-DOS for P.C. gaming. Who would have thought that it would blow up into one of the most treasured retro gaming escapes for modern video gaming communities? It's an incredible transformation.
I remember that cartoon. this game was hard to play especially the lava
“In order to read the writing on the old lamp, Aladdin rubs it with his sleeve”. Aladdin doesn’t have any sleeves.
Years ago in the mid 90,s I got hooked on this game. My oldest son was into to all the nintendo games then. I loved this game so much that this year I am asking Santa for this game and and Super NESsystem this year :)
And how was it? Santa gave you the snessystem?
Spent many hours playing through this game over and over as a kid, such a fun platformer. Nice run Saiks!
Great run, yo. I remember playing this as a kid. Had a lot of fun once I was able to get through the lava part on the flying carpet :P
I just wish I was able to land on the freaking genie during one of the bonus spins....Meh.....
This, DK country, MK 1 and True Lies were my first snes games. I played nes until like 94 or 95.
The graphics are actually pretty nice; you can tell a decent amount of work actually went into them,It isn't that long, and the most challenging parts probably are for the wrong reasons, but it all works out to be a worthwhile experience in the end.
I love this game
I remember playing this game as a kid and it was hard but enjoyable
:) i remember playing this at my cousins, nice run
I had a hard time playing this Game. It was on a Computer at my School I used to go to.
All red gems collected: you realize a dream of many players in 90s in this game. :)
Helped when there was a guide online telling me where they all were :P
15:27 every time my family rents this game from Blockbuster video I remember this part was the hardest part I’ve died many times trying to beat this part
Shane Inkster yeah especially the part where we fly with the magic carpet out of the cave.
Joguei muito quando criança nos anos 90 e início dos anos 2000. Que saudade!
21:23!! this is the point beyond which i never completed this game... was just so tricky...
Wow. You hit every single secret perfectly. It takes alot of trial and error and dying and game over screens to play like this.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Jeremy would have appreciated the compliment. Jeremy’s dad

I had this game bought it cause aladdin had a sword on the cover was totally pissed when i discovered he didn't have one in the game but the sega version did smh at nintendo.
Considering Aladdin didn't use a sword in the movie till the very end, the game is a bit more accurate than people give it credit for.
Great game! I feel like such a fool: I had no idea you could "glide" down with that towel or whatever it is. THAT would have come in handy like a BILLION times! What key is that? [note: I still beat it, even without the gliding :)]
JW3HH
p.s. On the Genie "Break Time" stage, where you spin that wheel...What do you get if it lands on the Genie?
Had this game as a kid. Had to buy another one because my friend came over and pooped on it.
The graphics still hold up very well .
yeeeeah I used to wreck this game as a kid!
don't know why but the music at the end of the cave of wonders level (the part when aladdin gets the lamp) always seem to creep me out
Awesome game! Looked & sounded way better than the Sega version. The downside was the graphics. The other thing I had a hard time accepting was the the jumping on things where the the Sega version gave you a sword. Note that I'm criticizing the game though & not the player.
if you saw the movie you knows what is coming at the end.
I played this a lot when I was a kid, a lot of wonderful memories but for some reason i could only play 4 levels and game ended. Can someone explain what did i need to do to get through to the next levels? collect all the gems? pls tell me Its been 20years and I still wonder.. :D
Unfortunately, Jeremy is no longer here to help you, I wish he was. Hopefully someone out there will answer your question. Jeremy’s dad
Saikyo played this game like a daring acrobat.
That is kind of you. Thanks, Jeremy's Dad
Are you gonna continue to Metal Slug 3 (the best MS IMO), or maybe do some other interconnected/action side-scrollers like C.Aria of Sorrow, Nightmare Before Christmas, or even Mega Man Zero for the GBA? Since you seem to like those kind of games unless you don't or quit the GBA games then meh. Just some suggestions, you know I have to leave those when I comment. haha
Anyway nice run messed up about that final boss hit, but in my opinion you did good enough.
I had MS3 for the xbox (the only MS system I ever owned), and played it plenty, so yeah, I'll get to that one soon (was actually planning on doing it in the coming weeks). Was thinking of doing the other GBA Castlevanias eventually. Dunno though about MMZ though. Didn't quite care for that series.
SaikyoMog OK cool I'll look forward to MS3. Same here too, played it on the original Xbox before anything else. I have the collection for PS2 now tho. For me its whatever with the rest of the Castlevania titles for GBA you already did my favorite one. :P Sad about MMZ tho I love those games...(-_-)
CoTM? That's my favorite as well. I was thinking of doing multiple runs of that, each as a different class. Would decimate the game as the fighter. Love that class.
SaikyoMog Yup, cool! I'd watch it.
Wasn't the mega drive version much better than this
Nuoooh, just one hit and a few seconds away from a no-damage run :'(
Child hood memories
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Jeremy would have been glad to hear that another fan of the older games had watched. I thank you for the kind RIP. Jeremy’s dad
If you get to Break Time, what happens if land on the Genie logo?
Extra heart.
One extra life.
I always felt this game was too short
Most videogames were short in the 80's-90's era especially licensed games.
omer suleiman ow i Weil teleshargé this game un thé taplate pleas telle me
Not true.
Tomb Raider III on P.C. came out in 1998, and, that game was not short in duration by any means.
The Cave of Wonders level sucks. I usually just skip to Friend Like Me.
this is one time where the sega genisis version of the game is better
Mickey Mania was better on the Sega.
Cars Cars 2 Cars 3 Biu Ray Vincent
Simon k. Hätte besser mal vorher dieses Video sehen sollen
snes was the better one but segas music was better
