Perfectly clear upgrade on the instructions thanks! The bit about putting the case back together before tightening the chain tensioner is a godsend. Thanks!
Bought this chainsaw last summer, does the job, just got to keep checking the chain tension quite often. I also found having slightly less play(more tension) in the chain worked better
Both this one and my old one have done a great job. My chain was blunt, and without a decent sharpener, for the price I bought the newer model so have two! I just need a decent chain sharpener now. Thanks for watching 👍
Very helpful. I agree that you need to check the chain tension quite often. Chain stayed sharp just long enough to cut through all the legs on a conifer tree stump around 60cm diameter. anyway, tree stump now out!!! I thought the oil chamber window does not show the oil level too well but for the price a good tool.
Bought this chainsaw last year. 40 European lids on sale. No complaints. The file size to sharpen the chain is 5.2mm & it doesn't come with it. Quite hard to track down. Screwy doesn't sell that size. Eventually got one.
I made the workbench myself. I made a similar shelving unit in the garage which you can watch by clicking here - ua-cam.com/video/BfZthn-odQk/v-deo.html. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Bought 1 today. Got home. Does not power on. Returned it. New one roes not power on too. I think I'm the problem and not the machine. Is there a safety switch I am missing as two brand new chainsaws surely cannot be broke
You haven't got the chain brake lever in the wrong position by any chance? It's the part closest to your left hand when you're holding the saw, it needs to be pulled towards your hand for the machine to start. In this video you'll see him move it just before he turns it on.
Really clear and useful - much easier to follow than the instruction booklet. Thanks
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching 👍

@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE I've got a sharpener as it did go blunt quite quickly, glad I purchased one... saved me getting new chain.
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE chains are cheap enough and better than the stock one that comes with it. I got 2 for £14.99
@@KingstonHomeMaintenance I'll bear that in mind thanks.
Thank you.. My instruction booklet never said align the tension screw although I knew that should be the case. Really helpful

Hi its bot cutting the tree. Is there something im missing. Why is it nit sharp
Do you have the chain on the right way around?
When changing the chain the pin that holds in place. That you tighten goes into saw and do not hold chain
