Brilliant, so gifted tenor, brilliant so musically involved conductor, excellent orchestra. Emotional and a joy to watch! Brava!!!

I`ve seen Daniel Orin conducting with even more "physicality" than he is here! The man absolutely lives every beat of whatever he is conducting, and draws quite stunning performances from orchestras, as he does here. He lives for and through the music, and the obvious love between tenor and conductor is one of the most remarkable and moving things about this all round superb performance. Thank God, too, for the wonderful, so unstuffy and receptive southern Italian audiences!

Good job on the conductors part in attempting to drown out the singer.The conductor should be more subtle when the tenor goes for his high notes rather than competing with him.Alvarez does a nice representation of the song.
@@ssr6036 OMG, A little harsh. He seems to sing the song in good taste while caressing the music, but you are correct, he doesn't seem to have much squillo. I don't know too much about MA but his voice has a velvety quality and he seemed to have a decent career for a lyric tenor
