I was looking for something else to watch while my UA-cam feed was getting unbearably depressive with the news coming from the world and US, and I ended up here. I wanted to thank you for keeping me sane, I always enjoy your anlysis and it's fun to see you trying to predict the song while airdrumming and you getting exited while arrangements succeed to trick you into false beat. I know that at that moment your brain is very happy.
It's ironic that Architects is touring with Spiritbox in EU in January, right when you left Britain. I have heard that Britain is so close to EU that it used to be in it.

I recently found another new Japanese band called East of Eden, think you might enjoy that! From what I gathered somewhat of a supergroup with a killer violinist, think they only have 2 songs out so far but their debut song 'Evolve' is absolutely incredible

The first magnificent artistic equivalent if Hi Ren is MONEY GAME 3. Exact same length as Hi Ren andchw feels the artistry is tbe same level. Absolutely recommend.

Yeah, it’s quite obvious. In this case some “fans” took it too far…what I’ve heard/read. I mean, if you want heavier Architects then go listen to the older albums.

Sweet where in AZ ? I’m in north Phoenix.. can’t figure out if I like this band…. Something about their lyrics throw me off
The lyrics are particular here. The song is essentially about the people who violently complained about the band's recent change of sound, sending death threats, shitting on the legacy of the founder/composer/lead guitarist who died in 2016.
Musically I like this, but, scream, growling vocals are just not my style.
Ironically this song is different their new stuff and a middle finger to the fans stepping on their dead founder and sending then death threats complaining about how much they aren't screaming and heavy.
You might actually like their recent albums.
I would say listen to the last two albums which have less screaming and virtually no growling which is kind of how they came to make this track as a small section of the fan base hated the change to a more commercial,though still heavy, sound and gave them a lot of hate for it. This song was the response to say we can still do this when WE want.
