The Wonderful World of Hanna-Barbera

- I've always loved Hanna-Barbera cartoons. I got the idea for this tribute when I heard that Joe Barbera had passed away. Now, I honestly think I'm going to get some criticism on this, due to the fact that I didn't include every single HB character (too many!) so I may have left out someone's favorite, and you will notice that I am playing favorites in who I chose (come on, you'd do the same!)
In any case, I set this little tribute to the tune of "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. I hope you enjoy it. - Фільми й анімація
"This video is a moving tribute to the men who made Saturday mornings so cool. RIP William Hanna and Joseph Barbera."
This is so wonderful. Like so many people I too agree that the cartoons of today cannot hold a candle to gems like these. Hanna & Barbera were simply the best. They provide me with my fondest childhood memories. God bless them both.
Today is March 24th, 2021 and it is Joseph Barbara's 110th (Heavenly) Birthday today.....I am sure all of us who watched your and William Hannah's cartoons want to wish you a Happy Birthday and thank you so much for all of the wonderful childhood memories 🙂🙂🙂
the talent these guys had is amazing!
the imagination you need to come up with so many great cartoons!
Wonderful tribute! I got goosebumps as the memories flooded back. I never realized how many wonderful cartoons they created and what a special part of my childhood they created, too.
It's never too late to say "thank you Mr Hanna and Mr Barbera".
Thank you for this tribute! And for those who were forgotten, they are still a part of the great big H-B family. NOBODY is forgotten!
Wonderful, I met Joe back in the 80's I'm glad I did great man wonderful story teller. I will miss him.
Nice. Sad that he passed away. May William Hanna and Joe Barbera be remembered forever and rest in peace.
The song is called "What a Wonderful World," and this version is sung by Louis Armstrong. It was written by Bob Thiele, George David Weiss, and George Douglas.
I'm glad to see someone here in you tube respects the classics.
I love watching them everyday when I was a kid thanks.
i watch these cartoons daily. i miss the good old days of cartoons.
That was very sweet of you to make this in tribute to the masters of mayhem, we miss William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, god bless you both.
These are "Treasures" from the animation. They won't be forgotten.
RIP Joe Barbera & William Hanna...
They built our childhood, a big hand to Hanna-Barbera, may they rest in peace
Thank you very much.Great Memories!!!!
A never ending Thank you to Hanna-Barbera.
I would really hate to think of a World without the Talented Minds of Hanna-Barbera!
god bless these guys,RIP they created the greatest cartoons ever, they came with their own style like disney and waner bros. they deserve all the praise they need, I thank you guys for making these cartoons I love them all, especially my man yogi bear. RIP again WILLIAM HANNA & JOSEPH BARBERA, YOUR CARTOONS WILL ALWAYS LIVE
This was pure entertainment for everyone. Saturday mornings are totally ruened tragically thanks to these darn networks. Get these classics back for us who loved them. VERY very sad.
At least Boomerang still has the classics. Its a shame that no one else airs them anymore. I remember waking up wvery morning to watch these guys and then following them was Looney Tunes. Its a damn shame nobody airs them hardly anymore!!! Thanks for the memories!!
They will be always remembered! They made many people laugh and have a good time. SHAZAM was one of my favorites. (sniff)
Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, what can I say? They were undoubtedly a great cartoon team that brought so much laughs and to make young people enjoy their cartoon classics. Yogi Bear, the Flintstones, Hong Kong Phooey, Atom Ant, Secret Squirrel, the Banana Splits, the Harlem Globetrotters, Scooby-Doo, Space Ghost and the Fantastic Four.Bill and Joe, brought not only Saturdays on the screens, but the holidays for the kids.RIP, Bill, Joe, Sachmo and Scatman Crothers.

That was awesome! So many great memories came back to me. Or might have been the song....
Man,those were some GREAT cartoons!
Hong Kong Phooey! I love it!
Nice tribute! Bill and Joe made so many cartoons, one song couldn't hold them all! Good thing you had that pic with all of them together! That's one of my favorites! I watch these shows on Boomerang everyday! It sure beats trying to catch them after school when I was a kid! Hanna Barbera RULES!
Man............. Loved these cartoons..... still do.
I watched almost all of them and I loved them
I remember watching all of these also, either in their original run or in syndication. No one made cartoons like Hanna and Barbera.
I just had a flashback of my entire childhood!!!
wow she was really the highlights of the 80's and 90's
Great tribute to some imaginative visionaries!
I miss all of these cartoons.
I miss my childhood. So so much.
good old cartoons... i wish they bring them back on TV again.
Same
Well, that tribute was quite wonderful too..
RIP i miss those days :( when cartoons where good :(
Love those bongo drum take-offs
Beautiful.
Beautiful video, I've done mourn. Thanks for making me remember beautiful moments in a few seconds.
Awesome vid man!! I used to watch almost all these cartoons everyday when i was a kid !!
thanks for the tribute. i grow up watching those cartoons.
great memories right there, nice work
Q generación tan linda , esas eran caricaturas , obras d arte, con argumentos y consejos gracias a Dios q creci con ellas
nice video i almost cry, it remembers me when i was a kid
That drawing in the end is so badass!! I bet its worth at least 20,000
dude, i like the fact that you love so much these cartoons and made this tribute, these cartoons where every child's life, some can be found on the Boomerang channel, but they are just a few of all the greatest that where back then thx for making this video :)
These were from back when cartoons were really good and they had important meanings (but lets face it, when we watched them, we didn't care). I guess what I'm trying to say is, these were some of the best cartoons of all time. Nothing will be able to best these.
I am really grateful for BOOMERANG. Not
only does it give me an opportunity to see
the old cartoons, but also my young nephews are able to see more than just the junk that permeates the TV. My only
complaint is that Warner stopped issuing
these shows on DVD. They brought it to
a halt after "Birdman/The Galaxy Trio."
Maybe they'll start again.
minha infancia ficou mais feliz com esses desenhos . TANKS HANNA BARBERA
No matter what they do ,They just can't replicate the old school cartoon
Bill... Joe... Rest in peace and thank you very much.
Hanna Barbera made of my childhood the best!!!
grew up watching most of these cartoons... where did the time go?!?
I have tears in my eyes, nice tribute.
The best cartoons ever to be made!
Great memories here. HB did so many others too. Nice tribute.
No problem. There were just so many HB cartoons out there, it was hard to narrow it down, so I just took some of the more well known ones, as well as a lot of favorites of mine and my family's.
Penelope Pitstop. She was on "Wacky Races" and then she got her own show, "The Perils of Penelope Pitstop."
Very nice... thanks for making and sharing this. Though their work will never be outmatched in the number of memorable cartoons, it's just really too bad that future generations won't have the fond association with these cartoons as we did. They're playing Playstations and X-Boxes. Plus all these cartoons have been locked in the 'Boomerang' vault owned by Turner or Warner Bros. and isn't available to all. Thnx for the post!
The Lord gave Bill and Joe a gift and they used it to the fullest. These men were visionaries, ahead of their time. Even made tv history with the Flintstones on prime time, the birth of Pebbles, Jonny Quest(first action/adventure cartoon),Josie and the Pussycats,(first african-american female in a cartoon and the first all-girl band),and the Harlem Globetrotters(the first all african-american cast in a cartoon and the only one based on real people. Much more too many to mention.
Ah I hearken back to the days when I couldn't get near the TV on Saturday mornings because all my housemates were crowded around it to watch HB cartoons.
Actually, I'm from a later generation myself, but I grew up with these on reruns.
This just brings me back, I really miss those days..Thanks man!
Thanks to all these networks, theres NO concern for the kids anymore turning on Sat. morning cartoons. What a tragic, sad thing. Hanna abd Barbera were the best! ( and so were all these classic cartoons.)
Considering it switches right at the time code, it's either Honk Kong Phooey (the dog hitting the gong in his hand) or Dick Dastardly and Muttley from "Dastardly and Muttley and Their Flying Machines")
wonderful
anos 70 a magia dos desenhos de hanna barbera ! minha infancia
nostalgic childhood memories
Excellent Tribute! You did a great job on this!
@lizzylizardson That's "Ruff and Reddy," which was HB's first TV series (Ruff is the cat, and Reddy is the dog, for those who don't know)
Superb !
Ur shows were so fantastic .:(
i will always think about ur shows .:)
But there not enough words to say how great those all cartoons were . :'(
I even learned the english language thanks to those cartoons .(I'm estonian )
(W) RIP William Hanna and Joseph Barbera !
Great compilation!
Not everyone has ill intent when they make their animation entertainment, but I will agree with you that the quality was more entertaining back then. I used to race home to see these on the USA cartoon express in reruns in the 80s
Super Boing was a character that appeared on a cartoon called Super Six(a cartoon featuring rotating cartoons about a group of superheroes who worked out of an "agency").....was produced by DePatie-Freleng and was on NBC in mid-60s...
king of cartoons!
daria tudo p/ voltar nessa epoca.muitas sdds....
What a wonderful VIDEO!
wonderful tribute
RIP HANNA - BARBERA
Very good job done ! :')
Beautiful tribute.
