Wraps are so great and practical. There is so many variations and ways that they can be made and they can be very health friendly with so little effort and time.
This looks amazing - I love all the flavors in the wrap, and that the chicken is done in a slow cooker. I'll have to try this - my husband would love that chicken even just plain on a hamburger bun :)
+zktec1, you can serve them either hot or cold. When you serve them hot the cheese melts really well with the hot chicken. But they're also really good when you serve them cold, especially during the hot summer days.
Does buffalo sauce have any spiciness? Is it spicy? Any other alternative sauce that is suitable for the kids? I would like to learn how to make wraps for my nephews.
Hi Evaleen, yes, Buffalo sauce is spicy but you can also make this chicken with bbq sauce and it comes out great. You can also substitute the chicken with ham, turkey or even rotisserie chicken to make great wraps for your nephews. =)
Great lunch idea for the family! Especially if you want to pack a lunch for a day at the theme park, and don`t want to eat over priced crappy park food!
You're right, I"ve made small versions of these wraps and served them cold whenever we go hiking and they're the first thing to go. Thanks for stopping by!
***** How did you make the small version? & can you please tell me about how many hours it will last? I want to take this to school for lunch but don't know how I should store It or how much time until I can't eat it. Please reply & thanks for the great recipe :)
Grace Rodriguez There's two ways of making smaller versions, you can use small tortillas to end up with small wraps or cut the recipe in ½ and that way you get less portions. To store them, I let the chicken cool completely, then assemble the wraps, wrap them with plastic wrap (how many times can I write the word "wrap" in one sentence? LOL), and then store them in the fridge. That way they can last a few hours in your lunch box or book bag. But whenever we go hiking I put them in a cooler and keep them in the car until we get back from our hike. Hope that helps! =)
You know, I hate to say it but it's a generic brand I buy at my local grocery store, King Soopers. It's by Kroger and I love it because it's not as spicy as other sauces. Here's the sauce I use: www.instacart.com/products/192563-kroger-mild-wing-sauce-12-fl-oz
Flattruck 101 Absolutely, the ranch mix is only to make it a little creamier. You can add the buffalo sauce by itself and it will still come out great.
barbiebabi240 The tortilla I used in this video is a spinach tortilla which is made with wheat flour. But wraps are usually made with flour tortillas because corn tortillas tend to break when you fold them.
don't ever boil your chicken its nasty as heck. Bake it in casserole dish for 35 minutes. Also while it bakes you can put the sauce in there chicken doesn't need yo be cooked for 5 hours...
I made these for my 12 & 10 yr old sons for their school lunch and they both loved it. Keep up the great recipes. So simple, yet good. Thanks again.
This is awesome! I love shredded chicken..I feel like it retains so much flavor and juice. I love it.

Hi, I'm truly curious to know how spicy is your buffalo sauce because I have a low tolerance to spicy things but I still love it?
I would love this on Whole Wheat Pita Bread!
Yes! This works really great on bread. Some times I make mini sliders with it and people love them. =)
Can't wait to make them !!! thanks for your recipes has really helped me get familiar with colombian cooking its awsome !! :)
Katherine Denise Arias Montoya You're very welcome Katherine, and I'm glad you've found them helpful. =)
Is that regular mayo that you used ?
Yes, it is.
Looks Yummy will make it Tommorow ;)
Can I leave out the ranch dry mix?
Flattruck 101 Absolutely, the ranch mix is only to make it a little creamier. You can add the buffalo sauce by itself and it will still come out great.

barbiebabi240 The tortilla I used in this video is a spinach tortilla which is made with wheat flour. But wraps are usually made with flour tortillas because corn tortillas tend to break when you fold them.
