Morning Gabe. When I was last in Rajasthan I went to Būndi, on the eastern edge of the state. Pencil it in if you’ve time. Pure amazing Rajasthan without any of the crowds but incredible stepwells and fort. I stayed in the Elephant Stable Haveli right under the fort and can’t recommend it enough. Really great wee city.

Excellent thumbnail, Gabe. Just wear a Rajasthani turban and we can say "Get Real with Gabriel of Rajasthan". This video gave me "Lawerence of Arabia" vibes. Those shots where you were a small figure at a distance, the sound of sand spreading out and hitting the camera, were excellent.
The nearest place to where you are and tigers is Ranthambore on the other side of Rajasthan. I once had a great view of a tiger there beside the lake some years ago.

The figures riding on horse carved on stone are in memory of brave people who would have died fighting against invading forces who would have attacked the village to rob them. Every village have their own hero’s and they honour them in this way
The kids at the end mentioned "Singh" as their last names, which means the village has a significant "Rajput" or other warrior caste population. Horse & sword are atypical symbolism of bravery, I would think.
