I swear I remember reading somewhere that Bidwell had the lock on Hanifans office changed sometime during this game. When Hanifan was fired he had to get the office door opened so he could gather his belongings.
Hail, to the Redskins! Hail, Victory! Braves, on the Warpath! Fight! For old D.C! Run or pass and score we want a lot more! Beat ’em swamp ’em touchdown let the points soar! Fight on, fight on, till you have won Sons of Wash-ing-ton, RAH! RAH! RAH! Hail, to the Redskins! Hail, Victory! Braves, on the Warpath! Fight! For old D.C!
As a redskin fan i was a huge jim hannifan fan.when he was with the redskins joe gibbs said when he walked in his office jim was like a mad scientist. Lol. Tks coach and rip
The season was an utter disaster. Many had predicted the Cardinals to win the NFC East and maybe go to the SB. Lots of things went wrong that year but the biggest mystery to me was the play of Neil Lomax. From the first game of the season he just didn't look like the same player that he was the previous two seasons.
@@shanetrimble9265 He had a rocket arm but woeful accuracy issues that prevented him from escaping mediocrity. In any case he got a Super Bowl ring for his troubles. Not bad all in all.
Mosley was such an overrated kicker. He had a good year in 82 only to nearly cost the Redskins a win against the 49’ers in the NFC championship game in 83. Weird that the Redskins kept him around until 86.
John Riggins final game of his career
What a team, I remember watching this game. Thanks.
Greatest moment of the Clyde Duncan Era with the STL Football Cardinals

@@IAmChuck17 Why did Gene Stallings want to work for such a piece of shit like Bidwill?

Jay Schroeder finished his career with the Cardinals.
The great underachiever.
@@MaximusWolfe He's a part of some great seasons for the Redskins and I have fond memories. He had a rocket arm.

I think Mosley might have been the last of the straight ahead kickers to play in the NFL.
36:25 Green gets a carry! Oh shit lol...
Lol, we never had an answer for Stump Mitchell or Mike Quick in the 80s...
1:01:35 Gary Clark...
