Basically, he signed you, then had his homie come in on the deal like he was going to be managing the artist, but really the money was coming through MMG. Slave shit. He played Meek and Wale for years.

Wrong, the nigga who brought him to the label wanted a % for bringing to the label. Meek and Wale ain’t get played Meek has never gone platinum on any of his albums except Champions, and that’s because he switched his sound up almost completely and had a allyoop from Drake as a single. Wale has never complained about MMG he only ever complained that his management team that he had from the start of his career did a terrible job, and they even sold him to another management company. He still puts out music on MMG with zero complaints.

That album didn’t sell when it dropped because Meek was an idiot and chose to beef with fucking DRAKE and it hurt his sales because somehow drake came out swinging and fucked his whole rollout up, and meek made it worse by responding to Back to Back late

I tnought homie was about to blow up big, because you have to remember back at that time MMG was huge with Meek and Wale. I thought sliding Tracy up in there was going to be good, but we never seen anything else show up after that. Now he just explained why he didn't get a chance to release any albums etc.
