It looks like a beautiful and historic city with a lot to offer visitors. Exploring the city's different architecture and visiting City Park to see the monkeys are interesting experiences. It's great that the Queen Victoria Museum offers exhibitions on Tasmanian history and is housed in a 19th-century railway workshop. Loved the Japanese monkeys next to Albert Hall and all the fascinating architecture in the surrounding area. What a great eye for detail you have and what a fertile area to explore. The Post Office and Clock Tower was particularly spectacular. ❤

Beautiful place Jojo, Edward the 7th only lasted 9 years as king before he died, I’ve got many of his coins, Georgen Victorian Edwardian architecture was the norm in our country, now it’s just junk
Poor old George. There are fine examples of Georgian and Victorian architecture. Some would say todays architecture is junk Jim 😂🤔 But there is beauty in the old buildings as there is in some of the new architecture. However Launceston is a beautiful place and we didn’t see any graffiti. Hope you are having a good day Jim.

It seems like there's a bit of difference between the government buildings and the business / commercial buildings. Pretty colors too! Seems like there are more red brick buildings than in other cities. Fun to hear about the beer and umbrellas :) 👍👍🌟🌟

Hi both I do love your heritage walks and this place had gorgeous architecture. I particularly liked the Albert Hall. We also have a Queen Victoria Jubilee fountain like that here in Happy Valley in Llandudno near us! Loved the Ronald statue holding the flowers and the bandstand was beautiful too. The churches were really lovely and so was that post office tower, the interior was beautiful. Also loved the Ingels Grocers and the very interesting history of the brewery and JoJo you did a good advert for the beer 😃 Great video as always guys :) ~ Anna ❤👍

I'd forgotten what a great spot Launie is. I think it has been around 20 years since we were last there. What I do remember well was stumbling onto the monkey enclosure. We thought, what the actual...? But it was pretty cool. Who knew then that 7 or 8 years later we'd be visiting the snow monkeys in Japan for the first time. Fabulous intro Launceston Jojo. I now can't wait to go back one day.
We really enjoyed visiting Launceston. A clean city, no graffiti or congestion like Melbourne. Those Monkeys were very cute. Imagine when they had some Thylacines in the park and birds. Almost a mini Zoo. We also enjoyed the architecture. Hope you get back to Launceston Shane. Tasmania has so much to offer.
