Bill deceived Dipper bcuz he's getting close to figuring things out, so once he tricked dipper to shake hands(cuz that's the only way he can take over a body) he destroyed the computer, and played his word by saying he just need a "puppet" not being specific but totally hinting using Mabel's puppet. So when dipper agreed thinking that bill wants to borrow Mabel's one puppet he shook Bill's hand. So bill "helped" dipper with the computer by destroying it. Which gave him the hint as bill said he would give dipper, and bill did got to borrow a puppet which is his body. So wouldn't both their deal be done bcuz they both got what they want.???

I feel like this theory could be true. I mean, think about it. Its kinda weird how both Stan and Bill have so much in common; like they knew eachother before. And during the last couple of episodes when they were fighting Bill, Stan kind of knew how to 'defeat' him. More like distract, but I think you get my point. I think Stan for sure knows something that we don't about Bill, maybe he knows something about the future. But that's just a theory; A FILM THEORY!-
Yeah, they have a lot in common and it's really weird. It is possible that when Bill was erased, Axolotl granted his wish and he was reborn as Stanley Pines. That would be very cool but hey, we can't be 100% sure anyways right these are all just theories 🌺👀✨

I mean I see literally no reason to not believe the theory. Arguably the secret twin thing had less evidence at first then the "Stan is a Super Villain" thing, and things with less evidence then this were proven as fact within the show. I don't think we have any real reason to disbelieve the theory unless your just a hard skeptic and "the quotes thing is far to coincidental" but I feel like those same skeptics can't deny how shaky that is when only TWO people say those EXACT things, and the fact they aren't the most common things in the world to say neccessarily, especially in the time the show takes place in.

Why I think this is true:
.In the message that “Grunkle Stan” left when they found the statue he was stuttering and he never stutters and I think we all remember when Bill controlled the time travel guy he was stuttering when Bill was controlling him.
.They always seemed very connected
. From what I know if a cause is reversed the effect never happened meaning that if Stan got his memory back that means Bill is back
. His different form is stan’s mind and the different time is night time because he usually controls people during the day
. What he said in reverse when he (Bill) almost was dead
.Stan talking in reverse
.All the coincidences and hints
.Bill was in that picture In the journal three hiding in invisible ink next to Stan’s head possibly meaning he’s hiding in Stan’s mind

He did shake his hand and was in the mind, then the axolotl granted the wish, from within the mind, there for causing some theoretical temporal distortion and changing the form that he was originally meant to be reborn in, knowing Bill he would have wanted a powerful, strong, smart body not a couch potato.
Therefore this theory makes sense, backed by some untested, theoretical science.
Im inforcing the Bill Is Stan theory. Stan has been Bill for his WHOLE life. I think this because as Matpat said, "Bill and Stan are the ONLY ones who call Ford Sixer". Stan uses an eyepatch to cover his other EYE. They both wear suits, bowties, and hats. I think that Bill and Stan are one in the same, the AXOLOTL said that Bill will be trapped in a different form, in a different time. Bill is looking for redemption, he is trying to fix his mistakes

"a different form, a different time" this does not mean that Bill has his memories, being that he was shot by Ford with the gun that erases memories, it could be that Bill is Sten, but without memories, in a continuous cycle of himself being destroyed and reborn as Stan, without his memories, to get rid of his crimes, As the axelot says "One way to ABSOLVE his crimes, a different form, a different time"

I thought a lot about this but the thing is when he said another form it’s referring to recreation of his form, but the thing is that two beings can be connected to the same soul. BUT there is also karma that can follow you from one lifetime to another. So I propose that Stan is the repurpose version of bill. Since Bill created the portal using Ford, Stan lost Ford. That would also explain why Stan and Bill are similar.
