  • Part 5 Papermaking with Mark Lander Making Stuff
In this video we will be back in the workshop making a big vat, a vacuum box, a mould for sun drying, and a Western style mould and deckle. We will be busy as bees in a flower patch!
If you love tools you will enjoy this, if you need this stuff and don't have the equipment...show this video to somebody who does, they will get it!

Great video, thanks mate! I love the Kiwi accent too. It's a shame your video isn't getting more views. I love the big tank you made to put the paper in. Most containers just aren't big enough to be able to produce a large sheet of paper or even an average sized one.

Hi Mark! What a great set of videos! I am wondering is it possible to buy plans from you for the hollander beater? Everything is shut down here in Ukraine. But I am guessing that it would be possible to email plans and pay you on line. Any chance? Thank you for your great videos! )))

I stumbled across your videos, they inspired me to read a copy of Dard Hunter’s _Papermaking: The History and Technique of an Ancient Craft,_ and now when I’m walking the dog and I see big piles of ponderosa pine needles, I think “I wonder if that would make good paper...”

Yay! It is amazing the creative world that opens up, experimenting is so exciting. Any fibrous plant will make paper, cook with caustic soda, pulp it up and make a sheet of paper!
