- We visited this 2nd oldest Georgia State Park back in April, springtime! Leaves still were budding, and few flowers were bloomed but it was still a great time to visit. That time of year it wasn't busy, and it was very peaceful! This small but beautiful 233-acre park is surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest, so there is so much beauty surrounding it and so much to do close by! We used this state park as our base for a few days while visiting the area, stay tuned for those adventures! But in this video, we show you the beautiful Lake Trahlyta Trail and Trahlyta Falls! Also give you a quick glance inside one of their cottages and another nature trail. Please watch for more information.

Vogel State Park looks like a beautiful place with lots of things to do. I love seeing waterfalls so the trail out to the falls would be a must. That cottage looked really nice for a state park cottage. This looks like a perfect place for a few days getaway to enjoy nature. Thanks for sharing your travels with us!

Oh my, this lake with such beautiful weather, is nothing short but magical! How I'd love to paddle over these tranquil waters. And that waterfall!! Nothing calms me more than the sound of one. Hi Melissa this was a small but beautiful park and so good for 5 dollars. Its great that you can rent a bike, we would do that and fish if you want. So much accommodation and yours was lovely. The falls were amazing and I loved the flower photos you took. That lake trail looks great and I loved the name of Bear Hair Gap Trail ! You do go to some great places :) ~ Anna 💕👍
