I love Penguin as a character because he has the best parts of all my favorite characters from The Sopranos. He has Ralphie’s humor, Juniors one liners and Tony’s heart.
Penguin is so manipulative and self-interested that I am very worried for Vic. He's either going to be his right hand frfr or a sacrifice for Penguin's goals. Either would be tragic.

Episode 4 was fantastic. Emmy for Cristin Milioti, for real. I think Sofia kinda had to take out the rest of the family. Not just due to the ambition, but because they were an active threat to her. They got her committed for 10 years (granted, because her father probably made them) and they were threatening her into sidelining herself. Being someone who had endured 10 years of mental and physical abuse because of what they did, I don't think she would just fade away agreeably and let them keep a boot on her neck like that, and let them perpetually threaten her.
the penguin is the best thing that came out if the Batman. and they did good by giving him a show. he is spot on, and the makeup is just incredible. everything about this world is amazing and well crafted. the script is perfect and the acting is high quality and even more elevated by the cast. there is very little to unlike, that it becomes irrelevant. love the show. and i was surprised by the amount of effort put into this show. 10 out of 10.
You guys chould check out terrifier. Its great, but theres also not too many people covering it right now, but itll be good for the algo once 3 hits atreaming.
I went and re-watched the Batman after watching the 4th episode of the show and not to my surprise it makes the movie better I could say that Reevs's universe is my favorite ever it is real and grounded yet feels mystical the writing is intricate nd man ! the show specially has interesting character takes specially with Sophia the perfect example of a girl boss without pushing an agenda her character's breakdown was seamlessly explored I do hope that Pattinson's Batman shows up but if he doesn't that's cool because the show is excellent as it is and will level up into the legendary status if it continues on the same level in the last four episodes .
I rewatched it as well and i think it makes it much better as well. The thing with The Batman is you really can’t be on your phone with it. It’s not like the Nolan movies where you can kind of put it on and have a good time Imo The Batman has rewatch value but it’s not something I’ll visit all the time because it really a fun film to me.
