Quite possible they had breakfast together, and when she went off on adventures or hung with non animal friends... He would take care of the chores and her animal friends.
There was also a scene most may have missed, but I caught rewatching a scene from that Teaparty episode. When he was looking over the stuff of the party after fluttershy says he has to buy more supplies for next time. The sandwiches his fingers ate... One piece of sandwich was left.... Bit into the shape....... Of a HEART.
I think that they kept the fluttercord ship on the down low was cuz, like for applejack and rainbowdash shipping, they didn't want to have a internet war or complaints on their hands. Top example i know is if you confirm one couple then you'd have people clamming for more confirmations on couplings.. that usually leads to internet wars and almost always ruins the shows for people especially if they are too connected to their own ideal ship.
You can just tell that Fluttershy isn't trying to hide herself around him. Being more comfortable being silly and maybe chaotic in his dimension. And he knows EXACTLY what Fluttershy would like during Hearts warming Eve. Husband material for her right here.

Yep. Fluttershy x Discord: Fluttercord is definitely absolutely canon. It’s so obvious. Fluttershy was the first friend that Discord made and ever since he is always willing to protect her and be there for her when she needs him the most. Fluttershy on the other hoof accepts Discord for who he is despite his flaws. He even got more friends as the series goes on, because of her. I have no doubt that these two are now married, living together and most likely had kids. Fluttershy and Discord are meant to be together and no one can tell me otherwise. #TeamFluttercord 🐴💛🦋💘🐴🤎🌪️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
