WEEKEND WOGAN 10th ANNIVERSARY SERIES - Show 32/35
11.04am, live on BBC Radio 2 on Sunday, 28 November 2010… the 1980 Paul Simon classic, 'Late In The Evening'.
After having broadcast two ‘Weekend Wogan’ shows from the BBC Maida Vale Studios, not only were we back at our spiritual home, the BBC Radio Theatre, this week would also be the last of the BBC's "7-week, budget-saving, no-television-cameras" era of the show!
Ticking another song off my 'Songs I’d Love To Do One Day’ list, I chose to open this week’s show with this phenomenal Paul Simon track which features, possibly, one of the greatest horn lines in the history of pop/rock and roll music.
Another one of those moments where I felt like I was in the cockpit of an Airbus A380, sitting there with the auto-pilot on and those monstrously powerful engines just carrying me along! ❤️✈💥💃🏻
