    Yeah, Don’t do this!!!!! Hot glue gun joints will fail and you will have another problem in your hands.

      Thank you for watching the video. Are your glue joints that easy to break? I'm not sure how proportional this is, but the tube adhesive I have is very durable and sturdy.

      Thank you. We may have to find a better glue or use Epoxy glue (heat-resistant glue), which will not be affected by temperature and is very durable at the joint.

    The grease trap is interesting. If it was connected to a sink in which you only rinsed the dirty dishes without soap, then it's a good way to collect the waste. However, I would use a silicone rather than a glue gun, to avoid leaks in the future. And heating the pipe to mould to the basket strainer is a poor technique. That will fail, you require the correct compression fitting for that task. I like the way your mind works though my friend, with a few alterations you've got a decent system there.

      @@HolicCreation В общем истрия сие мира такова: пластиковая труба гофра гнущаяся, подбираем, потом *крепления под нее с двух сторон, потом соединяем гермитизируем (или под крутилки) и готово. главное с двух сторон теч протестить и общий тест. На этом история окончена. 😇

    The hot glue securing the pipes looks like an accident waiting to happen. The flange and o-ring look like they will make a perfect seal. Also the pipe joining the two outlets should be at an angle to help prevent water pooling and debris settling.
    Nice DIY project but I wouldn’t be comfortable with the current design.

    Those "hoses" are sure to fail.
    Schedule 40 pvc is the way to go

    This is not being creative. This is stupid. Not the proper way to do plumbing. You spent all that money on pipes and connectors. It would’ve been cheaper to buy the correct pieces.

      Well, this is my take.
      If I had a flood in my home because of a ‘glue gun’ plumbing connection, I doubt I would be covered by my insurance.
      I don’t know where this person lives, but ‘glue gun’ connections aren’t covered by plumbing code where I live.
      I mean, the physics might be correct, but the plumbing is anything but.
      Homeowners… beware!

      When using your sink at home, don't tip waste oil down the drain. Simple.
