I flew from New Jersey twice to see her July 1 & July 10 concerts. It was worth it I got to spend time with Angelina and Sara after both concerts. It was magical. I can't wait to do it again
That little 'false start' by the band was great. As incredible as her singing is, it is also all these special moments in the show when she is not singing that really make us all love her. She is such a genuine person with such a kind heart, and it shows every time she speaks. Thank you Mattias for keeping it rolling through all of that stuff. It really makes it feel like being there for everyone that couldn't make it. Awesome job capturing this show! Thank you for sharing it with all of us
Rusty, The fantastic thing with this concert is that we have all the recordings. When our good friend Boris was not allowed ( 😪), so many others created fantastic footage for all to enjoy. There are at least 3 complete songlists from the concert, so you can play the same concert 3 times in a row. I (or my headphones) prefer the crisper recordings of Vidar Enerud, but the recordings of Mattias with slightly more bass is also extremely good. How lucky we are that have the opportunity to choose. Next time we all hope that you, Boris and several others long time fans also can attend the concert.

Your heart rate increases, you find it difficult to catch your breath, chills and shells engulf you. You are now addicted to Angelina Jordan the finest story telling vocalist I have ever experienced. There is no one on earth that can match the talent of this STORYTELLER. AJ deconstructs a song then reconstruct it to make each individual hearing it feel it was written for them, a love letter to their comfort zone. AJ has been killing us softly since she was 7 years old, and now she is taking the world by storm. How does one explain her abilities? The truth is, there aren't enough words because there is no one in our past, or more than likely in our future that will affect mankind as much as she has in the short period of time, she has been alive. AJ awakens a need within us that we had long forgotten. Peace.

This was a great performance by any standards even more so given the fact that it;s on a small outside stage and not inside an arena with the full support of an orchestra. I would love to hear Angelina cover the song "MEMORIES"by ELVIS.
This was an amazing performance (recall the words of Simon Cowell at AGTC 2019). Her live version is as good as her studio version which was stunning. She needs no special recording equipment or even a full orchestra to sound incredible. Just a solid 4-piece jazz band is sufficient. Ultra professional.
Her handling of the little false start at the beginning was beautiful. Completely honest, but not apologetic, she had a good reason for taking the agenda that way and trusted the band to not have a problem with it. Totally authentic and adorable! Did she give a sidelong glance to the drummer when she was doing her little creative interlude and he restarted the rhythm? (I notice at the end, the MC thanked "the whole Jordan family" not the Astar family so i assume that in Norway they generally go by the name Jordan. Astar is perhaps just a stage name for her?)
Angelina will be an artist I will be enjoying for the rest of my life. Love the type of music she sings. Great vocal talent and entertainer. Hope to see her perform in Canada in the future.
I have been listening to this song multiple times from you and others. It is absolutely incredible how good her voice is on the recordings from what is mostly normal cell phones from the audience at different positions. It is almost as good as the TV2 professional recording. Imagine what this would have been like with them recording it, with direct input from the microphone....
@@mattiasea theee was some recording in Kongsberg. Think either it was the Astar family or the recording company that was responsible. Also the Jazz festival at Kongsberg had very good camera coverage, but whether it was recorded or just displayed on big screen I am no sure. Some recording from national TV, but unfortunately only a couple of songs
I love Angelina's old band! especially the young new drummer. He's sensational on most songs - but he definitely messed on this one. He could have just do a roll on the toms or cymbals to play safe... instead, he was trying to find the beat on a tempo change part of the song. Of course Angeline old pro never lost the flow of this song... and I love the look she gave him. What else is there to say about this extraordinary beautiful, incredibly talented young woman... she's unreal!

She is so relaxed on stage and included everybody into her performance. Even when you just watch it on the computer-screen you can feel how casual the atmosphere is. Hilarious moment, when she said 'I am not ready guy's': no stress at all, she is clearly enjoying every second her self as well.

Did any TV company record any of the other concerts? I know "allsång på grensen" was but the other "normal" concerts?
