Looks like Adam Kadmon holds the same properties as The Holy Grail did when you first encounter it. No matter what, you couldn't kill it. You can leave it at 1 but it won't die. This is why I like this channel. No where else would you be able to learn this information.
Well plot wise you may be on to something, by the time The Holy Grail was defeated in December Maruki did essentially take its place in Mementos.

I agree. I get the whole thing is that the thieves can't actually do anything to Kadmon because it's just so powerful, but they could have had a boss fight with a cutscene at the end being like "What the hell? We didn't put a scratch on it!" and then have the scripted ending.
Still though, that ending was amazing and Maruki is the best Persona villain.

Fun fact: Izanagi No-okami can actually do enough damage to wreck 25% of Adam Kadmon’s health without any cheats(Of course, in Normal mode)

I actually did this on my playthrough as I was curious if his health pool was infinite or not. I got him about 10% of the way down. It looks like his health pool was set to 1 million on all parts

I loved this boss fight, but I wish Adam Kadmon was an actual fight. I mean I literally figured out his “weakness” right before the cutscene started.
The fact that the boss's defense actually drops tremendously in Attack Position just shows the actual fight wasn't meant to be scripted. Would've been cool to make all the party members active at the same time if it was too hard.
That’s far better than them stopping the fist. Everybody’s fighting alongside each other at once, literally no persona game has done more than five party members fighting at once.
So having every Thief fighting at once, dropping left and right for a long, gruelling battle? THAT’S how you show off power for your new boss.
Adam didn’t feel like the ultimate persona, he just felt like a joke to me. Apocalypse and Infinity from P3 would like to argue over why your little fist isn’t the ultimate persona, Maruki.
Even if you technically need two personas for those.
As he was, it wasn't too hard of a cycle, you have everyone guard and heal joker and he buffs and beats the shit out of him. If they changed it and buffed Kadmon that would've been great though.
Or it could've been the devs paying attention to detail

@Yusef IFL You don't get it. Adam is literally the first persona/shadow/god/whatever in P5 to take two hits from Penalty before his health even reaches 1 HP.

Look like Adam Kadmon has 2 HP bars, thats why the first penalty reduced it to 30k+ the 2nd hit 60k+
Then it’s stuck with infinite endure and you can’t kill it

Maybe some other bosses in the answer but the answer is just mostly bullshit fake difficulty like every enemy having evade skills for their weakness and the teammate AI being dumb as shit.

Despite Adam Kadmon having 99999 hp I still wish we could’ve fought him. Maybe we could have all 10 party member in battle or have Adam’s defense drop immensely when he charges
I wish they made this phase an actual boss fight then had the scripted part towards the end when you’re about to win.
Part of me feels like that was intended, if not what’s the point in giving this phase multiple targets if it didn’t matter?

Idk why people are so upset that it's scripted, it still takes skill to stay alive for so long in this boss. But I guess the satisfaction of the heart bar breaking is something to be missed
Once you realize it’s scripted and you’re actually just supposed to survive instead of actually fight him, a medidiharan on defense turns and then guard on offense turns and bingo bongo bango the fight is trivialized completely

It’s a lot better when you realize none of the attacks are one shot kills, so you could probably just crack a cold one with the boys and use one Mediarahan.
Should have made it more interesting... maybe apply a debuff that doesn't allow you to use mediarahan or any skill/item that heals the whole party's, so you are restricted to use only skills/items that heal 1 party member at time. Would have made the fight certainly harder and interesting. But maybe the idea of breaking the rules of the game and make every single PT member fight is even cooler... I mean it would still be scripted but cool as hell nonetheless

The first time I watched the Erebus fight, I literally thought you were supposed to lose it. You aren’t. You’re brawling with humanity’s desire for death, and it’s just as hard of a fight as you would expect it to be.

Has anyone here ever heard of the Deathwish mod (NG+ difficulty mod for the PS3 version of P5)? I imagine that if a similar mod is ever made for _Royal_ (probably pending release on Steam or something, if that happens in the remotely foreseeable future), then this fight could *maybe* be revamped to be more...playable.
Not even saying it would have to be a Deathwish-level mod; maybe a Hardtype-ish mod...

I really loved this fight, I can’t even call maruki a villain, and the music feels almost tragic and routing for both sides in a way. like seriously maruki is absolutely brilliant, sure he’s an enemy, but he hasn’t done anything for his own benefit, only the benefit of everyone else which is incredible. I just can’t overstate how much this ending is amazing.
It’s actually possible to beat this boss you just need a whole lot of Star onions and the other one that gives charge to a party member although it would take a while even on NG+

Actually this fight is totally possible if it wasn't scripted. You need Maria and Izanagi no-Okami on Joker and either Ryuji or Ann if you go physical or magic (I prefer ann since High energy boosts Myriad truths) plus other 2 party members. You all prepare in the 1st turn, then you all attack in the second, even if the rest die, Joker should survive because of izanagi's country maker ability, then just switch to Maria, revive everyone and repeat the process.
Wat if u killed maruki in that last fist fight with him or wat happens if u died in that fight? Plz make a vid on that lol
You can't do anything to skip your turn except punching maruki

What if you remove the debug code that makes him invincible ive read the coments and i agree it has a line of debug code that doesnt allow adam kadmon to die so what if you delete that line of code it would mean the game would crash cause its scripted to not die but if P5 didnt do that doesnt it mean that the game would end and the credits start rolling??!? Also i have a unrelated question what if you enable persona's in the fist figth against maruki in the end or will it not work? Cause that final battle is scripted to so joker is scripted to win? I have many more useless questions but im asking anyways

If in the coding you removed that part then you would have removed the target for for the transformer to supply your house with electricity

@@Honest-King The game is literally scripted so that she can always get an all-out-attack there. I tried using OP personas and even landing a bunch of crits, but the enemies can't die to your attacks and you can't knock them down by any normal means.

Sorry I'm late to the party to say this but I've recently beaten Royal last month and it was a beautiful game and message it brought but the only thing I did thought it was missing that they could've done to let you actually fight Adam Kadmon instead of it being scripted I felt like that was the only thing that Atlus lacked on like the first fight with Maruki was great and of course the third time you fight him with your fists was great too so why could've they added a challenge to fight Adam Kadmon too like WHAT THE HELL ATLUS????!!!!!!!!!! 😪 At least this was interesting to see and I'd love to play a mod of that one day where I can fight this guy instead of the game doing it for me!!!!

today i tried beating adam kadmon legit in this form and i got him maybe 10% down with max buff/debuff 99 stat hassou tobi/agneyastra/blazing hell/atomic flare, i wonder if it's possible to beat him in the time the game gives you, MAYBE with myriad truths, rebellion blade, masquerade critting every time and PERFECT agneyastra/futaba rng you could get him 50% down

Maybe use other skills or switch to fox ( heat riser to all + brave blade )
@@Honest-King I think they meant agneyastra as for what Ryuji is using, since they probably wanted him in the party for the chance of 80% on phys attacks

That enemy had low endurance , debuffed , had rage , and was knocked down
In this boss however you can only defuff him. You cannot: knock him down and rage him + he's endurance is sooo high maybe 999 endurance or something like that

When you unlock the infiltration route on Shido's palace, if you dont say a specific dialog, you dont unlock him, and Akechi does not appear at leblanc when Maruki comes to try to make you change your mind. This is so dumb, I didnt unlock Hereward because I chose the "wrong" dialog 2 palaces prior...

If you're going to put "Spoiler" in the title, don't put a spoil in the title next to it.
Instead, use "final boss" instead of "Adam Kadmon."
....Although, it kinda doesn't matter, because unless they search up that name on the SMT WIKI, they won't know it's association to Maruki.

I get why you guys put spoilers but come on this game been out for 2 months i beat it within the first week coming in at 60 hours of game time full thing
Excuse me but you haven't experinced it fully if your play time is 60 hours
- missed confidonts or social stats build up
- didn't try to farm the reaper ( yes you can if your party is at least 65 , 65 , 65 ,65 or higher with strong persona and healing + null bless/curse
-didn't fully explore the palaces
-had useless gears
-didn't listen to new conversations/events

Theres where Azathoth comes in. Azathoth is the actually real fight but even then the battle against Kadmon was really tense even if scripted.
Azathoth was kind've tough but with Akechi's and Sumire's super strong attacks and just playing smart, I did it first try on hard. Maybe I'll try it on merciless next time.
