From a New Zealander who played in brass bands 50 + years. I love the sound of the top British bands. In fact in 1992 my band Rotorua Brass brought out Peter Roberts from Grimethorpe to play soprano for us - Wow!!!!! he lifted the whole band and we gained 3rd place in our A Grade National Contest.
