@StraightToYourThighs that's what I do if I'm shopping after work lol. I work at Walmart and if I need to pick up 2-3 things after work, I never grab a cart. It may be a struggle,but if I can't carry it, I don't need it 😂

I think she went hoping to say Monat isn't that expensive, then pivoted to say you wouldn't overspend by doing a lot of impulse shopping when you bought Monat...which is dumb, because they always prompt add-on items, and they sell a lot of products. The whole thing was so pointless, she should have just gone home.

I appreciate that you listen to your audience. I know you talk about this but a lot of content creators have a mindset that all criticism, even from their own followers, is just hate to be blocked or ignored. I think it shows a lot of mutual respect when a creator like yourself can hear criticism and take it under advisement.
Some ppl are annoying AF for sure and I don’t want to change myself for others but tweaks being made can def be helpful
@@IAMCCSuarez absolutely! it reminds me a lot of the psychology of like questionnaire feedback which is imo fascinating because typically the people with the best and worst experiences are the people who take the time to fill them out or provide details. so feedback can be really skewed positively or negatively but most people feel neutral or generally positive unless something pushes to say something positively or negatively (i'm pretty sure this is accurate from what i've absorbed but if other people have more up to date knowledge about this pls correct me :) )
When that girl was talking about losing her friend, she said she lost her the first time because her friend “didn’t support her.” Sounds like she only wants to be friends with friends who are willing to join her.
So regarding the shampoo situation, when I was in cosmetology school I was taught that as long as you don't need anything super specific or have a scalp condition of sorts, grocery store shampoo is fine. Yes, the large, big name brand bottles do last longer and have certain benefits but some of the brands on the shelves right now do the same thing.

Pro tip if you have trouble with buying random stuff in the store: only go to the sections you actually intend to buy things from. If you only want to buy shampoo but are wandering through the home organization section, you’re doing it wrong. Don’t go down every single aisle like my husband does, PLEASE.
Curb-side delivery and/or delivery are the best for cutting down on impulse buys (especially since you can see the order total before you finalize it), but if that’s not available/practical, limiting how many items you expose yourself to is almost as good.
Stores use endcaps to get around that kind of discipline.

Shampoo girl forgot that Target has a pickup option online. They’ll bring your stuff to your car, so you’re not tempted to pick up stuff you don’t need.
I use this option and I have spent significantly less as a result.
She really thought she did something but like Chelsea said, she realized it was a shitty example and had to scramble.

Thank you for touching on Boss Lee again because I have been feeling the same way about her posts. It is so unethical to present ANYTHING as a “cure for cancer”, especially when she could afford pretty much any medical treatment for cancer that is currently available. I have lost family to cancer, so I don’t want to sound evil, but I am starting to wonder if she has been lying to try and get more engagement. Her post about cancer recovery has a huge amount of likes and comments, way more than any of her MLM-related posts, so it feels like it could just be a ruse for content. I would never wish cancer on anybody, so I really do hope she is doing okay if the diagnosis was legit, but the whole thing is starting to smell fishy to me…

I know several people who still live years and decades beyond their „expiration date“ and that’s all because they love life so much. Their is nothing that can be medically done for them to stop the C. So they get what they can get from the doctors (pain meds etc) and keep going. I understand JLW wish to fight this with everything she can, but I also don’t get her approach to just deny the reality. 😅 it can be a phase of grief and I hope she gets over it and steps back and just lives her last years in peace and how she wants. Hopefully without grinding in an MLM

I used to have an actual business, and never did I ever have to be accountable to anyone else than the customer I was selling to when I had my business. In an MLM, you have to be accountable to your upline i.e. other "businesses" in MLMs.

I remember I saw you when I was still in monat but had put it on pause for two months contemplating quitting. I hated but but I felt like a failure and a quitter. I watched your videos and got mad at the very first couple minutes. And then you spit facts and ever since then I’ve been 110% anti mlm. You also only had like 17K subs. It’s been so cool to see you grow and be where you are now.

I just have to say that I work a job that I love. I really enjoy it. I love my coworkers and I find the work actually meaningful in peoples lives. I work as a surgical technologist in primarily brain and spine surgery and it’s awesome! I have never felt the need to talk about how much I love my job like this. It’s so cringe and annoying.
I don’t really see many people who feel this way but I fully agree. I love my job and I’m incredibly grateful! I work remote and my boss is such a hands off leader so I feel like I’m my own “boss” and I get paid pretty good and I don’t have to pester my friends and family to support me and my scam 🤯lol
I really wish JL would just spend her money having a freaking great time…… not at all of these “treatments”. It makes me so sad.
