At the same time, it makes me feel worse for some of them that way (generally in reaction vids, not necessarily in this one). I mean those who seem so very eager to repeat what they were taught and/or look plainly lost, thinking they're doing the right thing.
Right, it’s one thing when it’s some average chick. In the Latin world we have the average Latin celebrity trying to charm mom and grandma and vulnerable communities. All these tacky Univision hosts and models hawking Monat gaslighting and manipulating people. Because even the higher profile celebs who do hawk Monat can’t be outright with it. I remember back in the day Samy Hair was really big in Florida and due to his relationships he made it really big with a tacky product. And now Monat is trying to do the same with its Univision relationships.

I'm so clumsy and bruise really easy. I bump into so many things all day that if a bruise doesn't form immediately, I have no clue where they come from 😂 like today alone I've probably hit my elbow on like 3 things, bumped my knees on something at least twice, and hit my hands on so many things (because I'm very unaware of my wingspan even after 21 years on this earth, I still end up swinging my arms out too far when walking, reaching, or doing literally anything else)

When they say "retire their husbands" I think of what I want to do to my husband when he makes himself lunch, uses 2 pans, 3 pots, all the plates and leave random sticky spots on the floor you get stuck to. And two sinks full of water, but not even a teaspoon thrown in.

As a consultant, I get really close with my clients because we're collaborative. But it's not selfless. I get paid to help them.
I hate when MLM huns (or anyone else for that matter) fakes authenticity and selflessness when they're making money off people or even go so far as exploiting others like huns do.
Yeah, I love helping my clients, but if it didn't pay my bills I'd do something else.

Every time they say "this business" I literally cringe.
I was at Ulta a few weeks ago buying shampoo, asked for some advice from an employee, and she tried to sell me Monat! Although she mispronounced it so I was confused for a minute. I told her I was NOT a fan of that company and was not interested. She continued for a few more minutes to tell me how great the products have worked for her, etc. etc. I was giving her a worried look and saying I still wasn’t interested and yet she continued. I was about to tell her never mind, I’ll shop somewhere else, but she changed gears and did end up giving me some good info on Ulta’s products. There was another employee listening to the entire exchange, and I was shocked she didn’t step in. WT actual F.
Wow! They don't sell it there right??? I'm about to go by there to get some normal good shampoo and if that happened, darn right I'd ask for the manager! Not that type of person but some locations already make ya feel slightly overwhelmed with the TRY THISS vibe...yikes!
Did you get her name? Ulta requires a non-compete from all of their employees, so if she's selling Monat she's in violation. Plus she made you uncomfortable and corporate would not be happy with that.

I mean, money does equal happiness when you dont have enough to live comfortably, or pay the basic necessities, but the fact these huns prey on the exact demographic who ARE living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to pay rent is utterly disgusting to me.

My challenge to all MLMers is to add up all the hours you work in a month and then compare that number to your paycheck to figure out what your hourly pay rate for that month was. I bet my whole bank account that for the majority of MLMers, it's way less than minimum wage.
And they have to subtract business expenses first. Product purchases, monthly membership fees, all that.

I joined herbalife and asked for my money back . It didn’t take me long to realize that many of the women promoting the products were photoshopping their bodies! I did a live Instagram exposing the unethical practices of mlm within mentioning their names and boy where they furious lol saying I’m a hater - I’ve had my own coaching business for 8 years , I’ve been in mental health for 15 I am certified and have my masters - it’s sad how they try to push personal development down people’s throat, and how they target people who are experiencing emotional and financial distress!

I have ADHD, I am 36 years old and can not listen to a conversation while performing anything more than a surface level task. It has brought me to tears on more than one occasion that I can not cook and communicate, it makes me feel stupid.
I just got diagnosed with ADHD at 38 and some things are meant to be basic are such a struggle. Or people get mad bc I’m not “listening” but my brain won’t let me sometimes. My Dr is currently trying to help me find a medication that works. We tried *A* (don’t wanna put the name), and it makes me fall asleep

It makes me happy that you have genuine empathy for these women. The huns are so ridiculous and these videos are really fun to watch, but behind the stupidity every single one of these women are victims (except founding members). Most of the victims also become victimizers. It’s an awful cycle that I’m glad someone (you) talks about.
Also, you are so right that the pretty woman should consider a sales job. I recently broke into tech sales and absolutely love it. I work from home most days, make great money, and actually enjoy my day-to-day tasks. She seems like a person that thrives on friendly competition and bettering herself, and that’s what sales is. Every day I go in with aggressive goals, knowing I will 100% be financially compensated if I meet them. This woman probably works super hard like me but will never see anything close to the amount of money I make each month.

Speaking from experience your upline really pushes you to listen to “personal development” daily & they also post them often in the chats (spotify links, UA-cam videos etc…) & during these “training calls” they often play motivational videos especially the top earners they always make references to well known “entrepreneurs.” So they’re legitimately convinced that they’re within that circle as well. It’s insane. LOL

I have nerve damage that causes me to be extremely clumsy. I almost broke my ankle last week walking back to my car from a restaurant. It was 1/2 of a block. I was stone cold sober. Some people really are just that clumsy.
My kryptonite is when I have to order food through a drive thru window for other people/a whole car of people. TOO MUCH RESPONSIBILITY AND TOO MANY SCREAMING VOICES TELLING YOU THAT YOU SAID SOMETHING WRONG lol

Oh my gooood drive thru ordering is so stressful! 😭 I get so annoyed cuz my kids sit there for 3 years to think about what they want and then order the same thing anyway. I was nearly in tears in Europe where every shower across different towns and countries had a different sequence of things to push, turn, twist, pull, hold down, release gently or whatever. No one has understood my trauma!

"i did this by growing my hair" - absolute hair length is primarily determined by genetics, altho general health/diet does affect how well it grows (for example, i can only grow my hair just over two feet before it stops getting longer and just maintains that length, and it gets thinner if im anemic) idk felt weird how she said that when thats not really something she can control 🤷

Driving through a carwash anxiety is so real. The first time I ever went through a carwash by myself, I drove up and over the barrier that stops you and opens when it's time to pull forward (very small town car wash, didn't have stop or go lights, just a metal barrier 😌).
Anyway! I drove over it and couldn't just back up in my Honda Civic without busting something because that bitch was taaaaalll. So I just skirted over it and drove out of the carwash. Didn't give a damn at that point.
I did the classic "embarrassed smile and wave to nobody" when I got out like "theeenks bye! So. Fun! I'll definitely come back."
But I never went back, I never showed my face at that shop ever again. And I haven't been through a carwash since.
OMG - yes, driving into the carwash makes me feel dumb (and frightens me!) I used to go to a particular automated car wash because you could get a basic wash if you filled up with gas. I liked it because theoretically you didn't have to have any of that icky human contact - just get your gas, push a button that said you wanted a carwash, get the receipt with the code, drive up to the carwash bay, enter your code, drive forward when directed and stop when it says "stop" - easy, right? But 3 times in a row I somehow didn't drive into the right track and the carwash wouldn't start, and I had to go into the store and tell the (very pregnant clerk) that I'd messed up, and she then had to reset the process. After the third time I stopped going there because I was so embarrassed!
And I know those auto-washes are bad for your paint job, but my car was old and I just don't care that much about cars. Hmm, maybe I should join an MLM so I can get a better car? Yeah, nope to that!

Imagine having to text your boss pictures of your bed to prove you made your bed. Imagine thinking that mattered for anything related to your job (unless you make tiktoks/reels in your bedroom or whatever)
I can see how it makes sense that top Monat Huns don’t have a large following. They don’t need to, they can just cold message or make their downline cold message. A large following is great for selling stuff but they need cult members and not customers.

I work for a company that files flight plans for pilots and we were bought by a company in another time zone in the US. I always have to remind myself they’re an hour behind me. I also have a time zone cheat sheet!
All of the things you said make you feel dumb - SAME! 😆 Along the same line of pulling into a car wash, pulling into one of those express oil change places where you stay in your car…my IQ immediately drops to -10 for some reason.
The women in my family all bruise easily also. We say, "We bruise like a summer fruit."
For my anxiety thing: every time I get a rental car you would think I’d never driven before. I swear the people at the rental car company think I’m never going to leave because I don’t want to drive off until I know where absolutely everything is. And then I head out of the parking lot at about 3mph lol.
One time I took my car to get oil changed at one of those drive-in oil places and I almost went over the pit when I pulled into the garage, the look on the man's face was true terror. I am forever traumatized and I make my husband do it for me now.
