4:11 girl is SO WRONG. I found the item she was talking about and here is the description from the person who sold it at an auction, "The Venus of Willendorf, believed to have been carved during the “Old Stone Age" (~30,000 BCE), is one of the oldest known statues in the world. It was likely made by hunters and gatherers, who carried the statue as a kind of Paleolithic lucky charm to ensure they would produce offspring. It is a touching testament to the age-old problem of infertility." Basically this statue was NOT an depiction of ideal features, it's a depiction of a PREGNANT WOMAN. Also, in the Paleolithic era the people did not have enough food to BECOME obese.

That's also just a wrong conclusion; Nowhere has there been any indication the venus figurine is supposed to be pregnant. Being obese might just well have been the desirable type of body in a time no one could realistically afford to get fat, hence it being considered peak femininity and fertility

"I am not interested in pursuing weight loss right now"
They are so confident that obesity is never the cause of their ailments. You can't go to the Dr and just write off an entire vector of treatment just because you don't feel like it.

"I'm not pursuing weight loss right now" is the thing I have to say because I had chronic pains, and depressive symptoms because of it. Sadly these kinds of people ruin it for us with actual problems.

When i was at my heaviest i went to the doctor to get my knee looked at because it was causing me pain. The doc said it was because i was overweight. And she was RIGHT 😮 Another time i went for back pain and she gave me an xray, based off my symptoms. Turns out i had TWO slipper disks.
Doctors know what they are doing and what they are saying.

I have- or, had chronic pains from a dislocated kneecap. It wasn't related to my weight, I was 5'3 and 105, I believe I was approaching being underweight when it started. I was turned away from the doctors because of my weight, which at the time was 150lbs. I mean, I must have had a bad doctor, since I explained I had the pain since I was 10 and it only got worse with weather. I was just looking for something to take the pain away so I could actually work out, since I had gained that weight from it being that bad, and not wanting to work out because of it :(

I'm sorry but how can a statue from the Paleolithic era be of "Venus" when venus wasn't even created in that era? like its called google, just type in some words and look things up

bruh they're called venus figurines as a classification of upper paleolithic female figurines. A randomass old dude named them, i don't think he was considering accuracy...

It's also an exaggerated fe+ish doll of a pregnant woman.....like it's the equivalent of modern day inflation fe+ish art.
It doesn't represent a real person in the same way that ancient male fertility statues depicting men with digndongs as big as the dude himself don't actually represent real people.

@@skylerm5252 True but with that in mind, are these women then not twisting the narrative?
They use the name of the object to imply that the obese body is actually the natural female form which is false. Women also had beards in the Paleolithic era but I don't see these ladies hellbent on pointing that out.
Furthermore many of these figurines depict pregnancy. The people alive during this era were very muscular. In fact, their skeletons show proof of very large muscles. Which is obviously indicative of the manner in which they lived.
It's just jaded fat women on the internet attempting to manipulate historical facts to suit their narrative because they need to feel right about their most vulnerable aspects.
But they aren't right, and they don't get to change history or convince normal educated people to drop everything they know to adopt a new understanding, just because they are sick of getting bullied for being fat.
Their bellies may be thick, but it is their skin, which would serve them, to be thicker.

When fat people get old they just straight up go down hill. In home health care it’s sad when I’ve seen someone who is 65 years old and bed ridden struggling with diabetes and heart problems and even then just by not being mobile your body eventually shuts down. Seen them needing walkers to use the bathroom or people needing to turn them over with a crane just to change their diaper. 65 is just too young to be bed ridden.
This is why I workout and take care of my health. So I won’t be 65 and bed ridden I want to be 65 and still hiking or walking everyday. The best thing about health and fitness is literally it’s free! Walking and running is free. Body weight workouts and mobility workouts is free. Buy a set of weight or lift things heavy. No one is forcing you to stop by McDonald’s to pay for $1 meals. You can make healthy meals and if you like fast food, meal prep. If you wanted to be healthy you would.

I'm a skinny and my best friend of all time used to be fat. She lost the weight a good while ago, good on her ❤❤❤ But to the girl saying "if your bestie is fat do or don't do this"
How about you let my relationship with my friend be mine and let others relationships with their friends be theirs? My girly and I have a great relationship and I never had to follow any of these little rules.
And 15 years later my girly is one of the thins y'all hate so much any way lmfaoooo. Achieved through exercise alone. Didn't change her diet. Just stopped giving up. She got a job doing physical labor 5 days a week and the rest is history. Oh and by the way, that was like, 2 years ago she got that job? 2 years later she looks and feels absolutely fantastic. And it didn't even take her the whole 2 years she's been looking and feeling fine for a good while now. Guess that crumbles the whole exercise doesn't work theory.
And also, the theory that people hate you for being fat. It's a blatant falsehood, madam's. My best friend in the world always was and always will be my best friend no matter her size. Never hated her when she was fat. I did however see her suffer inwardly and emotionally, and I'm filled with joy that it's all in her past now.
    Seek help.

The fact that the girl at 7:25 had a point for a portion of it is surprising.
I'm not pursuing weight loss rn, because I'm not in the right headspace for it. I don't have weight-related complications, as I have chronic (before I was overweight) knee pains from a dislocation. I've been turned away because of it being "related to my weight"
Your honor, I'm 150lbs, at 5'3. It's not that big, trust me.
