I agree. I think the problem with the gym is the entitlement mindset we develop from going. “I go to the gym, I exercise on expensive equipment, I (presumably) lost weight, now I get to eat whatever I want.”
@@skinnylegend2431 Yup. And if you're lucky to have youtube on your TV you can watch amazing exercise vids or go on the internet. Don't have weights? Fill up some empty milk jugs with water.. Your muscles don't know where the weight comes from. Walking is great. Simply using your body weight to do squats works well too as well as lunges. You can even take your baby out in your pram/ stroller and walk faster. Pushups are amazing, even if you can't do them at first. The world is your oyster.
Since when did fat people become a different species than human?? Why did they talk about themselves like they're a different species?? Fat skinny medium-sized all human beings no thin privilege anybody can be thin just by taking care of your body and eating real food and eating for nutritional needs and not for unnecessary needs like boredom or socializing you don't need to eat food to socialize
0:02 1) fat people don’t have less time than anyone. Everyone is busy and being healthy is not as time consuming as people think. Walk to the grocery store, buy more vegetables instead of junk, make a quick dinner yourself instead of ordering takeout. 2) why not exercise at home? There are plenty of videos on UA-cam to use for workouts. 3) the seats on gym machines are always huge, mainly because many huge bodybuilders need access to them. I don’t know what gym equipment she’s using. 4) if people can scroll on TikTok for hours, they can watch a tutorial on how to use gym equipment and how to workout. The internet exists. 5) again, you don’t need a gym membership to be healthy. I’ve been healthy my whole life and only recently got a gym membership. 6) you don’t need to walk in your neighbourhood, go to a park or a hiking trail. 7) most obese people are able bodied. I understand it is difficult for those who aren’t, but you can’t use that excuse for the majority. 8) oh please, I’m getting tired. You don’t need fancy gym shark sets, just wear cheap leggings and a hoodie or any old t shirt. 9) most brands that sell gym clothes do big sizes. It really isn’t difficult to find gym clothes in very large sizes. 10) everybody feels intimidated walking into the gym when they first start. I go to a gym where members are majority male, but you just have to suck it up and accept that no one cares and the worse someone can do is look at you. 11) again, everybody feels out of place in certain situations. That’s life and if you want to escape that feeling you may as well sit in your room for the rest of your life, 12) I agree healthy food is more expensive and time consuming than McDonald’s. But you don’t have to be a millionaire to afford it. Instead of buying snacks, stock up on vegetables and meat and you only need around 20 minutes to cook a simple dish. And if you consume wisely, your groceries can last you a week or more and you won’t have to buy takeout everyday So no, it isn’t a privilege. Stop making excuses.
It's a *privilege* for her to hear, the majority of *weightloss* usually comes from _"not eating crappy foods."_ They don't get that *big* from eating a "little". If they collated the amount of money they spend on takeaway or crappy foods over a week, they can easily use these savings to buy _fresh_ food like eggs and vegetables etc. which go a loooooong way towards good health. I always see these people, from all walks of life *drinking massive cups of good food nothing Starbucks* or a calorie dense beige somethings (it's always beige 😅)... that right there, equates to a dozen eggs. Learn to cook, don't drink your calories and just walk a little (even on the spot) your mind and body will thank you for it.
'it's a privilege to afford the right clothes to exercise in' what?? does she think people only go to the gym in expensive lululemon sets? just wear breathable hand me downs? or is she saying all people who dont go to the gym simply go naked on the daily? e: also why does this william guy not blink in his vids lol
That first women and her “It’s a privilege to…” rant is total BS. I was 210lbs after pregnancy. I gave into every craving for 9 full months. Anyway, after giving birth I decided to lose the weight. I knew toddler time was coming and I wanted to be able to crawl around with my child, and jump and play at playgrounds. I had little time and didn’t purchase a gym membership, fancy foods, or purchase expensive workout clothing. I just ate less and went for walks each evening in a pair of baby drooled on sweat pants. Within a year I was 120lbs. We need nothing to lose weight besides a bit of determination and self control. All I hear are excuses. Society will NEVER view fat people as anything but weak and lazy for just that reason. No matter how loud people wanna be over it, that doesn’t change the fact that fat is not a disability or something we are born with and have no control over. It’s something we do to ourselves. Ain’t nobody a victim of fat unless that box of snack cakes assaulted you into eating the entire box.
I wonder if they’re aware that people hate them because of their extreme passive aggressiveness, victim mentality, and them being just overall shitty people rather than just their size. 🤯
I'm very small/petite- not so much thin as just small (5'1" 115lbs). I have a hard time with things like seats on public transport, even if I wear heels my feet are like 6 inches off the ground. I can't reach the top shelf at stores or even in houses. In most cars I can barely reach the peddles even with the seat pulled fully foward. I have to stand on the peddles and turn around to back up. I have a hard time finding clothes that aren't crazy long on me, especially pants or long skirts. I end up in the kids section alot since adult petites are expensive. Alot of medical equipment doesn't work for me so I have to ask for smaller needles, speculums, blood pressure cuffs etc. While all of this sucks and can be frustrating, it's hardly discrimination. There is no cabal of tall people who hate short sh^ts like me. And most of this I can kinda work around. I have a claw-grabber I use to reach high things. I wear heels and learned to climb furniture. I drive a tiny car. But again it's not discrimination. The world is built around 'adverage' adults. If you're bigger/snaller it's not going to fit you. So you change what you can and work around the rest. At least fat people can lose some weight. Even losing 20lbs could be a big difference, even just a couple od sizes would make a bigger difference in clothes. You don't have to be Hollywood Skinny to fit in an airplane seat. But I can't just grow 6 inches.
9:34 woman got winded from just switching position on a couch. How is that "cute" in any way? Also, you don't need a gym to exercise, and whoever says they don't have half an hour a day to exercise is a liar. Moreover, steps could be taken to switch your daily routine with healthier options, like biking or skating to work instead of taking the bus.
Right off the bat, it's not a privilege to be able to go walk outside. No one needs a gym membership to have a healthy lifestyle. Not to mention that 90% of the things she listed are not privileges.
