Folks, this is a good and close-to-the-original cover of Accept's song "Metal Heart" of their mid 80's album of the same name. Accept's lead guitarist Wolf Hoffmann grew up listening to all kinds of classical music (he even made a late 90's CD "Classical") and he and Metal producer Michael Wagner (e.g. Helloween's albums) decided that massive choirs and classical citations will hit the spot. It's all 25 years old stuff - but back then, it was jaw-dropping! Dimmu Borgir - job well done!

This Video is Great !!! It makes me proud I am Greek . The Greek army that gave that battle comprised of 300 Spartans and 700 Thespians. After Efialte' s treason ( Efialtes = Greek for " nightmare" a few of the Thespians that were still alive were forced to leave by Leonidas in order to avoid the inevitable slaughter in vain. Spartan law dictated for Spartans to win or die in battle. The Athenians refused to join due to the constant rivalry with Sparta at that time.

Thermopylae battle is not a fantasy film .it was a true brutal battle where Greeks kicked asses .The film 300 was away from the real bloody battle .Those 300 Spartan Greeks was superhumans and that's the truth .Remember my words ...This kind of Greeks still exists .Η ΤΑΝ Η ΕΠΙ ΤΑΣ.Great song by the way and great cover
i wouldnt say its better than the original but it's good that he's honoring metal's roots,covering slayer,twisted sister,accept,etc........i'll have to check this guy (band?) out a little more........if anyone has a little info on him i'd appreciate it.......i remember getting metal heart the first day it came out,on vinyl haha,this guy seems like a throwback to the days when metal was king

It is considered as a special art of skilled musicians of this genre to use classic melodies to create the artwork of black metal. f.e. Children of Bodom, they often use Bach. by the way, this is why it is called "symphonic black metal"
