Great Video! Steppenwolf! I own their catalogue, so many killer albums. Love Jean Michel Jarre, i posted a video about that album from 1978 last week. That Yes album is so fantastic, as is that Peter Gabriel. If you like Lynyrd Skynyrd, I posted a deep dive video about them a few days ago. Cheers
I think Lani Hall and Herb Alpert are on tour or are preparing to tour now; he just released a new album! Gotta love Herb and Sergio. I saw Moody Blues on the Long Distance Voyager tour. Fantastic. I showed a picture of myself standing in front of the Berlin Wall once. I was hoping to start a thread of everyone showing 35-40 year old snapshots. That was an eclectic mix of records. A couple of my favorites (off the top of my head) for 1978 would be Kraftwerk's "The Man-Machine" and Golden Earring's "Grab It For A Second." Thanks for showing the records Art!
Haze grey and underway! I was underway and missed most of the music that “premiered” in the late 80’s and early 90’s - recently I decided to figure out what I missed. I found nothing… Great videos! Former QM1 tin can sailor here 😊
In no particular order except #1: ***City to City by Gerry Rafferty*** ***Encore by Julie Tippets (Driscoll) and Brian Auger *** The Kick Inside by Kate Bush Lionheart by Kate Bush Pyramid by Alan Parsons Project David Gilmour debut Peter Gabriel II (scratch) Wet Dream by Richard Wright Comes a Time by Neil Young Backless by Eric Clapton Incantations by Mike Oldfield
We probably did - I was on the USS Charles F. Adams DDG-2 from 1985 to decommission in 1989 - I transferred to the USS Philippine Sea CG-58 for Desert Storm - l left Mayport in 1992 for shore duty - so it’s likely we were moored somewhere close to each other 😊😊
Great show! ❤
I love Neil Diamond too the Queen and I saw him a few times too. Enjoyed the video.
