Thanks for the shoutout Pete. I’m going to hopefully say when and not if I get to Australia again visiting you will be on the agenda. For resurfacing large surfaces like you did I have a flat rear glass out of a pickup I lay on my solid flat work bench. I then stick wet dry sand paper to it with sanding disc adhesive and work part to be surfaced back and forth and circular motion, works good. Poor man’s surfacing machine.
Pete, this is great content! Not sure why your reviews and counts are not higher, however, not everyone own's a big backhoe. I have a 98 Case 590 Turbo and it locked up hard on me going downhill in reverse!! Front tires did a wheelie when the large rear tires locked up. I'm impressed with your skills in the backyard! I haven't tackled anything this size before but it looks like I need to see what went wrong and get'r fixed.
Hi Mr Martin! I'm with you, in that 'I don't know why my channels not doing any better, either'!!! Ha ha!! Ah well, it is what it is. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. Your machine 'locking up' like that does not sound good. I really hope it's something simple and easy to fix. Not sure what the differences are between the 580 and the 590? But anyway, here's me wishing good things for you. Good luck, and thanks for the comment.
Hi mate you’ve done really well with this, especially attacking it in the back yard. Just brilliant. I can’t thank you enough for the shoutout, that was really nice of you. I hope someday we can collaborate mate that would be great. I’m sure we can make it happen in the future
Thanks for the support, Steve! I certainly appreciate it. Yeah, I'd love to catch up with Geoffrey someday, too. Fingers crossed, this thing will run like a dream when it's all done!! Ha ha!!
Thanks Rob! I appreciate your support. As a kid, I used to spend my school holidays in a little town called Geroa on the north end of 7 mile beach. Do you know the place? I've got a lot of awesome memories from there.
Nice work mate👌🇦🇺
Thanks 👍

Thanks Geoffrey, great advice about the sheet of glass. The idea of a trip to the US for me isn't out of the question, either.
