Excuse me if this is an ignorant or inappropriate question, but not something I’ve dealt with here in the states. How big is a purchased trapline from the Crown? Are they all a standard size? Or do they vary? And if the latter, how big is yours - if you don’t mind my asking! Tight Chains
In B.C. they all vary in size, ours is very small as compared to most others, with very few roads and many very hard to access areas. My guess would be maybe 15x20 kilometers or 300 square kilometers. But most of it is very hard to get to.
Hi Ryan, thanks for the feedback. We’re still novice trappers, and I made a mistake identifying the marten tracks. We’ve definitely learned a lot since then and have been improving our skills. Hope you stay tuned for more episodes.

True story, our first year trapping we had much to learn back then. Follow along as we learn more each year.
