What is your story in brief?
@@CatholicTruthOfficial short version I posted on my channel a short video but in brief a cradle Catholic born and raised by a dad who was was catechized and an alter boy in Boston in the 50s and 60s(that's important later in the story) but never knew he was religious until I reverted after he had passed .My sister also reverted and it was a tandem effort being the only 2 Christians never mind Catholics either of us know, weve come so far and learned so much in a relatively short amount of time but I had confirmed as a cradle Catholic she didn't, and I knew of a church lady I called her who at first a Baptist who I kept in contact with and would sporadically go with her family until a cpl years ago I went to her non demon church when she invited me after seeing a thanksgiving post of her and her family and I enjoyed the happy feeling and ended up getting my sister to come a few weeks after (because she could have Starbucks during the service is how I sold her on it). And she enjoyed it and after a few weeks we started asking questions and feeling something was missing and tried our childhood Catholic church(my sister was anti Catholic by this point in her life) but because of my insistance after I was watching some UA-cam videos after the church lady was insisting I get baptized and I was insisting that I already had been as a Catholic. and were both just captivated by the Holy Spirit . We were poorly catechized and surrounded by non believers and until life knocked us down to our knees and Jesus reminded us of his Goodness and Glory. We both go as often as we can to daily mass and adoration. Changed our worlds and lives 180
As we Come closer to the end of the world , God really doing His job to save as many soul as He can, before His 2nd coming..

in tongues speaking mode. It always sounded ungodly and I would ask her. Do you have any idea what you’re saying ?She would respond with no, but the Holy Spirit knows what it’s saying. I would respond with. I believe the Holy Spirit would tell you what they’re channeling through you . is that not correct?
Something I found odd was how she and some of her friends would check up on each other to make certain they were attending church service… it was an all day thing . May she be happy ,but she can have it.

The other day my anti-catholic mom asked me randomly the other day about the intercession of the saints. I explained it to her and she said she believed it was possible but wasn't comfortable with her.
And yesterday asked me what church I'm looking for. I told her one that holds to the teachings of the early church. How can I use this opportunity to explain Catholicism to her?
You can say something like, from my research so far, after reading and studying the earliest most pure christians, it matches up to the Catholic Church, which I would never have expected. All of these other denominations came 15 centuries later and all argue and contradict one another. Maybe pray about how to say it. And what to say.

On Wednesday September 13th 2023: I was sitting in a camp chair in my garden at roughly 3.42pm a white butterfly circled me really close up twice, it even flew around my hands, I was wondering moments before this happened "do my prayers really make a difference?".

(Monday 20th February 2023)Last night when I washed my hair it started to knot up extremely & I was losing so much hair more than I ever had in my life! I had to use two different conditioners to try to get the massive knots out, I prayed to break any curses that may have been put on me & even when I was finished washing my hair another huge knot appeared I had to use a third conditioner this time a leave in conditioner from the body shop ( luckily I had that). This morning my hair was brittle & my scalp felt like it had been chemically burnt I was gently trying to braid my hair I made 3 attempts and had to keep stopping because my brittle hair was knotting & breaking. Then I remembered arch angel Raphael (for healing) so I asked arch angel Raphael to get some healing balm from heaven and heal my hair and all of a sudden my hair went smooth, no burt scalp feeling and knot free, I was able to braid my hair no problems. Thanks to God ❤️

@@josh39684 Intellectually, showing her that the early Church including the Apostolic and Sub-Apostolic Fathers believed in the Real Presence in the Eucharist should give her something to think about.
But brethren, you need to pray hard to the Holy Spirit as well, and request intercessions by your patron Saint and our Blessed Mother.

Welcome home you both. May you both grow stronger in your faith & practices. I am shocked when Protestants say Catholics do not have Jesus and Catholics do not know the Bible. Do they know how many readings from the Bible we have at a mass. ? Jesus promised one who eats my flesh and drink my blood, I will raise them up on the last day.
As a former Protestant, I can tell you that most Protestants faiths amount to a Bible study, when it all comes down to it.

Bible alone is heresy. The Bible itself teaches against it. The Sacred Scripture upholds the authority of the Church.
A few weeks ago, I prayed AGAIN to God to subject me to COMPLETE spiritual purification. God heard my prayer by sending me physical sufferings. I have had physical pains every day since a few weeks ago. Oftentimes the pain is painful, sometimes just mild and at times very painful. I have always had emotional/moral and spiritual sufferings but this time, they have been intensified. My great consolation is knowing that after this period of trial or purification that I am presently going through will come a time of grace and consolation or it means, after this period of suffering, my wisdom, holiness, virtue and strength will increase again while my sins, weaknesses and ignorance or spiritual blindness will decrease once more. My spiritual life will level up again. Praise God! :)

Been told by an SDA according to their bible "The Clear Word" Jesus' first miracle was turning water to grape juice not wine and Jesus never drank wine but grape juice.

What do you think about the Mormons changing the Bible to fit their own standards?
And Historically, and Culturally, grape juice was not had at weddings. It was wine. And another thing, the method to preserve unfermented grape juice was not available in their time! Of course that's not a great argument against the fact that Jesus could have transformed the water into grape juice as he was a miracle worker, but I digress.
The Greek word for wine used in the bible was Oinos, which refers to fermented wine. It would fit very well in this scene historically, and.. by language..? Idk how else to say it.
And in John 2:10 the master of the banquet stated that the quality of the wine was so strong it could cause people to lose their senses. This is a quality of wine, not grape juice.
Either way, these are some points to go against their claims.
And to answer the first question because I don't want to wait another 20 minutes to stir up a response. People like 7th day Adventists, and Mormons, change the Bible to fit their own standards, while ignoring the history, church fathers, and the Bible itself. Jesus Christ DID turn water into wine at the wedding.

I’ve been through a lot of difficulties in life lost my family, financial, health but, I always tried my best to keep holding on and my faith just keep stronger and waiting for the time that I’ll serve Him fully. Catholicism is not a denomination. 2000 years ago. So, if you love Jesus, you would be Catholic. Catholicism existed for 15 centuries before denominations were ever invented.
The word “Catholic” has been used to describe the true Church since Ignatius of Antioch used it in the 1st century.
However it is in the Catholic Church that you participate in The Eucharistic celebration that our Lord Jesus left us on earth. Jesus Christ did not leave a Bible but all the SACRAMENTS through which we participate AS SOURCES OF HIS GRACE and Blessing. Jesus was very clear about the Holy EUCHARIST, Jesus told the Jews, your ancestors ate the manna that God sent and they died but the BREAD that I give you will give you everlasting life(HEAVEN).

Eze 3:20 - the narrow gate is the Catholic Church and we must warn those who are on the wrong path...otherwise God will hold us responsible. All Catholics are Christians...for 2,000 yrs to-date. NOT all Christians are Catholics...and there is no such thing as a 'Protestant faith.' There are 40,000 denominations all claiming to be Christian but believing in totally different set of doctrines one from the other. The Catholic Church is the One True Apostolic Church.

Assyrian, the Catholic church is not a denomination. It existed for 1500 years before denominations were ever invented. If it was just one denomination to another, you would have a point, but this is a denomination to the True Church of Jesus Christ as 2000 years old. Just something to consider.

Seriously, are you blind? John 17:3 says that the Father is the only true God , not Jesus . Stand to reason.
Jn. 1:1 says Jesus is also God. As does Jn. 20:28 and countless other passages.

True Christians talk about someone being converted to faith in Jesus Christ. These people talk about being converted to a church, the Roman Catholic Church. That's why it is a cult. Evangelical Christians do not talk about converting a Catholic to a Baptist or Methodist; they only talk about them coming to know Christ as their Savior. A difference with a distinction.
There is no difference between converting to the Christian faith and converting to the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church teaches the Christian faith, so it's all essentially the same thing

This complex of insults is revealing as it shows the depths of animosity English Protestants had toward the Church. No other religious body (perhaps no other group at all, even national or racial) has such a complex of insults against it woven into the English language as does the Catholic Church. Even today many Protestants who have no idea what the origin of the term is cannot bring themselves to say “Catholic” without qualifying it or replacing it with an insult.

The paragraph doesn't even remotely say that all are saved. Especially if you just rip out that paragraph from the rest of the context of Vatican II. Vatican Ii is extremely clear that we are only saved by Jesus Christ through the Catholic Church.

We agree! Converting to a man-made religion like protestantism doesn't save you. A converting to the one true Church of Jesus Christ which is his bride and his body does. Try being in the early Church in Bible times and saying you don't want to be part of that church that you're just going to follow christ, and you're going to ignore the apostles and Paul and the others. You would be excommunicated in a second. Mileage Jesus who saves us, he is the head and the church is the body, and you can't have the head without the body.

I gave my life to Jesus over a quarter of a century ago, he changed my life like when Saul became Paul. It was a radical transformation from when I used to dress in black and carry weapons and hate the world, to be transformed by the power and love of God who took away my sins and gave me life and joy like I could have never imagined. I promise to live for Jesus and only for Jesus since that day, as he is the only one who could fix the train wreck that was my life. And I have lived for him ever since, he is my Savior, Lord, Redeemer, friend, and awesome God. Praise to Him!

You see the early church do it. That’s the first step. Christianity doesn’t start with your Bible. Then you can go to John 20:23 and see Jesus gave the apostles power to forgive sins. And start connecting

Yes, the church is comprised of christians all over the world. But Jesus also willed that His church would have a CENTRAL LEADERSHIP i.e all christians worldwide would be under the leadership of the SAME individual or set of individuals.
Unfortunately, protestants reject this fact, and claim that the universal church should be divided into independent Christian communities (or "churches") each with its own seperate human leaders but all united on the the basis of a common belief in Jesus Christ

Lies and slander are the very thing God hates in Scripture. Stop slandering other religions because you haven't done proper research. The Catholic Church condemns worshiping idols. We don't pray to anyone but God through Jesus Christ and ask the intercession of others who are in the body of Christ.
