    Very cool. Id be interested to see how the m1 and m2 buttons change your keybind.

    • @Tuuvas
      @Tuuvas  8 місяців тому

      honestly my keybinds don't change much. I just set the left extra button to Y and the right extra button to LShift. This makes trimming helicopters easier since I have Force Trim bound to the Y button, and gives me yet another modifier for additional binds like camera angles, kneeboard, etc

    Thanks for the review of the gamepad, you're awesome.
    My question is, can the spring weaken over time and increase the stick play like on the kk2 pro?

    • @Tuuvas
      @Tuuvas  8 місяців тому

      Absolutely. In fact, another reviewer did a X months later review of the Vader 3 Pro, and found that his sticks were more wobbly than they used to be. I personally haven't noticed much change, but I also am pretty gentle with my thumbsticks simply due to the nature of the games I play

      @@Tuuvas It’s a shame, I also encountered this, but I thought it was a defect

    Can you please show the difference in dimensions exactly between the Series X controller and the Vader 3 Pro/Direwolf 2? I have a charging dock that uses the Type-C port on top that is designed for the Series X controller but it is quite a tight fit. A side profile of the 3 controllers would be very appreciated.

    • @Tuuvas
      @Tuuvas  8 місяців тому

      If you're using a dock with a type C port and tight fit, do not get this nor the Vader 3 Pro. While the shell overall is based on the Xbox Series controllers, the USB C ports are not in identical places on either controller.

    Do you have to assign the paddle buttons, or do they function by default?

    This controller have QC issues, the left trigger did not working for me, or rather hovering between values rapidly when I was holding the left trigger, causing the malfunction during gameplay. Unfortunately, I will have to return it. It's a shame though, I really like it.
    Edit: It's in my profile if anyone want to see it.

    Would it work good with dcs full fidelity planes and are there any better options

    • @Tuuvas
      @Tuuvas  8 місяців тому

      Any controller that has the standard set of controls: 4 face buttons, 4 direction d-pad, two analog thumbsticks each with a click, start/select, shoulder buttons, and two analog triggers. As long as each of those exist, any full fidelity DCS aircraft will work fine.
      BUT! If what you want is MORE than the required controls, then you'll want a controller that has extra buttons that can have them bound as extra actions. And so far, only Flydigi Vader 3 Pro and Direwolf 2 have done that for me. I'm sure there's more, but those are my choices.

    Awesome video. Which controllers do you have and use the most?

    • @Tuuvas
      @Tuuvas  8 місяців тому +1

      Flydigi Vader 3 Pro has been my mainstay. The 6 extra buttons that can all be remapped to both controller buttons as well as mouse and keyboard buttons are incredibly valuable. The only controller I might use separately is the PS5 DualSense, but that's only for the superb gyro.
      As for controllers I own:
      • Razer Wolverine V2 Pro
      • Thrustmaster ESwap Pro
      • Xbox Series S|X
      • Playstation DualSense
      • Gulikit King Kong 2 Pro
      • Sunwaytek Syozen Z2
      • Flydigi Vader 3 Pro
      • Flydigi Direwolf 2
      • BIGBIG WON Rainbow 2 Pro
      • Binbok Ultra Pro Controller (very nice controller btw, but no hall effect sadly)
      • others I can't mention yet

      @@stevensv4864 so far, Flydigi Vader 3 Pro. Another controller you should look up is the GameSir T4 Cyclone Pro. I don't own the T4 Cyclone, but I hear it's a strong competitor.

      @@Tuuvas Been looking to replace my Apex 2 as unfortunately the face buttons are now sticky. Like the pads under there just dont spring back up anymore so i get ghost presses from time to time. Actually leaning to the Vader series this time as i really dont like the Apex 3. Was supposed to get the Apex 3 but found out that their controller menu screen is purely in chinese and no english so its a big no unfortunately. I really do love the Apex line though
      Guess il try the Vader 3 Pro this time

      Just did a quick test on my Vader 3 Pro. No matter how hard I try, I cannot trigger more than 2 adjacent directions at a time. (ie. I can do Up+Right. But I can NOT do Up+Down at the same time)
