Off to a cold start and end with a cold start. Time to do some work to first class. Thank you for watching #kenworth #kenworthtrucks #germanshepherd #truckdriver
Good man, I see you must've jumped of at exit 10 an picked up US 75 south. I've been watching you for a while now. Looks like you're running my old stomping grounds. Ks nebraska iowa south Dakota. You and I have probably crossed paths more than a few times.
Just gotta love our Midwest weather. Riding the Harley one day and freezing your assets the next. Big congratulations to Paige! It's great to see kids with ambition and desire to make the most of everything they can. Your kids are so amazing and you do right by them as a great dad. Stay warm and God bless.
I am in Omaha and remembered this cold temperature, I never minded it to much as I rather have the cold then the snow. I enjoy your videos, they are rather relaxing and helps clear the mind on shitty days.
Kurt~ you have a good life! Thanks for a nice long video~ really enjoyed the night scenes. When you are feeling down~ remember you are ESSENTIAL! America runs on truckin’ ~ have a great sleep.
I don't even know how I found your channel, I play American Truck Simulator, so I guess searches resulted in me finding this content. But sure am glad! I put you on as I build my Warhammer 40k models and watch your travels. Been fantastic! Here's wishing your future self all the safe travels, as this is older content
Hey buddy You just perfectly described the covid experience I had with my nose and all those terrible smells. All that when I was driving and seemed to have stopped when I came back to flying just over a year ago. Love the vids Kurt.
I know you quote the temp as what the wind chill is but my boss when I drove, said "wind chill doesn't affect equipment".right or wrong I always made sure fuel and filters never gelled cause it wasn't him that was sitting on the side of the road in the cold.keep on trucking,my friend and rub that beautiful German.
That was my favorite part of trucking. Crawling through those towns in the mddle of the night, with no traffic. Take care Kurt. Todd Konoske the retired trucker.
Thursday was sunny and 64 degrees. A beautiful day to replace my air dryer and leveling valve. Friday and today are wet and cold. I'm so over this. lol.
Watching you pour that thick chocolate milk, wanted to climb in video and drink it for you. Little sugar cannot drink it anymore. Opie looks satisfied.
I put socks over the fuel filters after fueling at Little America Wy. in late 1980's. No problem was only one running next morning. Temps were 20-25 below, high winds, bad night. Gave ride to England driver in NE, said he was about to freeze and no one would help. Stay safe.
Those cold ass days with a bunch of wind take the sap right out of a guy. It was subzero most of the week here. Finally saw some better weather today when it got up to fifteen above
Sitting in my recliner with a cat sleeping on me and a dog sleeping beside me, I can't help saying that Opie is such a good traveling companion/friend/member of your family. And my dogs love cheeseburgers too!
Your K.W. always looks so beautiful. Glad it is running just fine. STAY WARM, STAY WELL & STAY SAFE. Regards to your wonderful family. FRANKIE LONG ISLAND
This cold air has really sucked the spunk out of me. I know how you feel. Except our temps have not been as cold as where you are. Here on the west coast we get a taste of what comes your way so, at least you know what's coming. Unless it comes from Canada, That's great news about Paige. She will do just fine. I see a lot of new freeways and bridges being built. It will be interesting how everything that is going on will play out Stay safe and WARM.
CONGRATS PAIGE ‼️this has been the most crazy weather in February. If, you could find a $ dollar store you could get tupperware cheap. I was also thinking that you could warm up the wet food for Opie, would mix easier and he may like it that way. Get some gloves to put on when giving him them treats, or I found wet wipes with lemon and it will take care of that smell. Drive safe stay warm 😊🐾🦮🐕🦺🌬❄️🥶
Hey Curt. It's being 70 degrees every today down here. Better than my hometown of Waterloo, Iowa. Only bad part. TORNADOES. One touched down about 40 miles from me in Atmore, Alabama.
UK has some of your wind out of the texa gulf and now from across your "northern states" gust over 110mph, so thanks for that. lol (Good job we life in the eastern side so it slows down some by then to 70/80. But All ours are built of Skin brick and heavy clay tile roof, You gotta go some to move that. Oh, Super Dan was running across your states on 23rd.
Know that feeling Kurt brother over here in wyoming we dropped from sunday the 20th to monday the 21st from a high of 62 to a high of -2 in 16 hours... With wind chills we pegged out at -41
Have you ever let the kingpin slide over the fifth wheel and get hung up I did that once back years ago did not do that anymore 😁KEEP ON TRUCKIN 🚛 🇺🇲 👍
Hi Kurt its David in va again, i lol last wk went you walked in that store got that zlingers! jackpot! now you have me eating them, having one now! stay safe!
Great videos,I’m a new subscriber.I was a line haul driver for a freight company for 30 years, along with my dad.We are both retired now and we had a lot of laughs.Great times, missed a lot of family things however that’s why we did it,all for the family.Stay safe and I’ll keep watching.Gregg.
i was just thinking while watching this video again. It would not be hard to make first class plug into shore power when parked to keep the batteries charged. Could even install an inlet like on the outside of a camper. that way your cooler and refrigerator would still work and batteries won't go dead. Just a thought.
You probably could have taken a pair of needle nose pliers and pulled fuel out of that filter like a popsicle! I sure remember those days and life before air dryers👎. You definitely had a long day and hope you get some good rest and some better weather! Keep the great videos coming and stay safe and God bless 👍👍
Been out of a truck for a month coming and I’m getting another opportunity to get back in watching make me get a refreshed look at how alive this trucks are ,they feel part of me at times even more if I get my own then I’ll really I run my own path ,to the future 🥂
I used to go to Rural Kings and buy a case of the Winter Power Service, I poured a bottle in each tank per fillup, cheap insurance, especially when your in Nebraska blizzards and the wind chill drops to 30 below, running back and forth across I 80 into the Northeast, Power Service saved the day, carrying those spare filters also, Stay Warm Sir..
Hi Kurt Fantastic video again, your are just like I was, always looking after your family and your dogs. Give my regards to Opie, he’s one famous dog and a beautiful boy also. Kind regards from Scotland 🏴 Johnny
The brifge sculptures at 14 minutes are the most terrifying I have seen in a long time. Reminds me of the post WW1 modernist/futurist stuff in Europe. Just saying that's some dark shit, they making alien tech next gen military stuff out there on the down low? Should I be preparing my bunker ?
About oil, study upon synthetic oil, mobile 1 was first to produce, , always use filter also. I was in comical refrigeration, several 500hp screw compressors, use synthetic in my cart and I& truck.
Hey Kurt , man - 16 degrees. There's no way I could function in that temperature. I live in Florida and a couple of weeks back we got down into the 40's and I could not get going. Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see you had the bike out on your previous video, I'm away on Sunday, member of a bike club which is 120 miles away. I have the BMW k1600. Looking around 350 to 400 miles on Sunday. Hi to opie. 😁 Peter from 🇬🇧
Oh no!! Sorry the cold weather has got you down. Here in El Reno we got about 1/2" to 3/4" of ice covering everything its like a skating rink all over here.
I don't know how you stretch one can a week of dog food. I need your secret lol. My big dog has dry food out at all times and he still would eat two cans a day if I gave him. The cold runs down to South Ok and N Texas too 9degrees tonight and we just are not ready for that. You be safe trucker. God be with you. Havagudun.
And yes I'm now a believer in the Hills formula never used it before but it's like my mom's Jack Russell came back to life please talk to your vet about it they'll point you in the right direction I'm almost positive
Thanks for sticking with CAT filters. I have been through many test classes from mother cat years ago and the tests they spent big bucks on to filtration properties VS aftermarket brands. Well yeah the sell the brand but they have the tests to back it up.. Carry on brother

1 You forget the fuel cap or is it missing 2 You paid for a personalized plate and her fuel 3 She better be maken straight A's . 4 Thank you for getting stuff from one point to another so we have our stuff 😎
On newer vehicles they sort of built the cap right into the flap. There is no screw on piece. You shut the outside flap and it plugs the hole.
4.0 GPA. And it doesn't have a Cao.
@@truckingwithschmidt7120 Good for her 😁 . Nice to hear atleast one young Lady that takes her studies serously .
Have you ever thought about a power inverter to power a dorm refrigerator, you will need a 1800 or 2500 watt to power you microwave and refrigerator
Have fun in dallas
