Met 1 & L92 on the Avon Valley Railway - Sunday 25th October 2015

Following on from its London Transport themed End of Season Gala the week before, the Avon Valley Railway repeated what it had done last year and utilised guest locos on the following weeks services. As with last year, the following week saw the usual passenger service, which was also supplemented by a goods train throughout the day. The locos in use were the two guest locos from the week before, with Met 1 on passenger duty, with L92 in charge of the goods train.

+Joseph Jameson I think Panniers are well known to bounce a little at speed, add this to the not quite level nature of the track and you get that!

Top and line is awful , even though panniers had a reputation for bucking and bouncing about , especially when on LT metal back in the day , but the track here is in need of packing and tamping , you could get one in the dirt even at low speed

The trackwork has improved since this video, though while still not perfect, it is a lot better than what you see here!
