When I started learning Quran I used to select a topic and hear as many scholars as possible regarding the same topic . So I get to know some valuable information and different opinions of scholars. But sometopic Allah connects it with another subjects . So I started learning different subjects at a time, in order to understand properly the subject I choose . Learning is a step by step process. If we start learning by seeking Allah’s help , He will teach us beneficial knowledge time to time . Always seek Allah’s help . He will teach us in a way we will never forget and will be beneficial not only for us but also the people that surround us too . He is Al Rasheed The Best of Teacher ❤❤❤ ❤
Your method is actually good. I remember hearing this method from several scholars and scientist that listening the same topic from different resources will actually strengthen the knowledge. The physical brain itself change and makes many connections.
This is exactly what children do why they repeat things they're learning about and mastering a skill as maria Montessori noticed this and made it an opportunity in the Montessori classrooms showing another part of the kid's fitra that our school system has tried to remove or go against trying to make kids move on to the next topic before they have delved deeper and gained more understanding and mastery of the subject. Exactly how we should be learning the way Allah has shown for us to learn and made it part of our nature in sha Allah i will continue to implement Montessori method in our children'shome education especially the islamiyat so i contour to follow the way that their brains need to develop best. In sha Allah
I am not Muslim but the ideas conveyed in this video seem to reflect the broader eastern emphasis on contemplation as opposed to the western agitation and movement as described by Rene guenon. You would probably hate him for being a sufi perennialist and I do too as a Christian but I have started to appreciate this more profound focus on limited, more comprehensive sources than the constant superficial dabbling in many sources
Really appreciate these videos brother, i was involved in the same mistake of wanting to jump from one book to another and wondered why i couldn't recall anything from them

• Memorizing a concise version of the core text. • Having a qualified teacher verify your understanding. • Avoiding distractions from advanced commentaries. • Focusing on one summarized text at a time.

Brother please include arabic translation in the youtube (it can be auto so no need to bother yourself) because I want to share this with my friends, Jazak Allah khair
I low key want to memorize the whole Quran by doing page by page and repeat the page for two fifty times but I feel like that would consume a lot of time and days. Normally It takes me 1hr 30 minutes to memorize one page but if I repeat it 250 times it might take me about 1 or 2 weeks and 3-4 hours everyday I’m also competing against my friends even though everyone is on their on journey but them leaving me is the thing I’m worried about. We are in 20s by the way lol. Allah said compete one another in doing good. Leave suggestions down below JazakaAllah kheyr.
Alhamdulillah I also learning to memorize the Quran, and from my experience you have 2 choices, first, if you want to master 1 page, you have to READ (read every single word and if you can Arabic, memorizing with a keyword of the translation on that page will help u a lot) the page at least 20 until 100 times. I know it takes a lot of time but it won’t disappear from your memory, so my suggestion is you can read 1 page with hadr (read quickly with good tajweed) Second, you can follow your way w/ that 1 hr 30 minutes for memorize, but you have to commit that you will murajaah that 1 page you have recited to ustadz in your shalah or having special time to read that within 1 week
You are overcomplicating the whole process. The goal should be to master the page you are memorising like you know surah Fatihah. Which means you have to recite and review the page many times in order to master the page. You don’t have to recite that page 250 times for mastery in one sitting, you can recite it over a week or 10 days. Or you can recite the page from memory 30 times, then the next day 20 times, then the next day 10 times, then the next day 5 times, then at least 1-2 every day. You should be reviewing you Quran in your prayers and while walking or driving. Also, learning the Arabic meanings of the page you are memorising alongside the Tafseer and listening to a reciter you like will also help with memorisation and make it more enjoyable to recite especially when you know the deep meaning of what you are reciting. If you really want to be a Hafidh of the Quran, then be prepared to put in hours of work and review and have a teacher monitor and guide your progress. If you low key want to memorise, then you can expect low key results.
