Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A surah from the Quran containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the surah Tabarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e.,Surat al-Mulk ].” (Reference:- al-Tirmidhi, 2891, Abu Dawud, 1400, Ibn Majah 3786)

May Allah (swt) make the journey easy for you. Remember memorizing the Quran is a long journey and should mentally be prepared that way so one doesn’t get discouraged. It took over a course of 23 years for our prophet (saw) to completely learn the entire Quran through the revelation.

I now know a main issue that prevents me from memorising and retaining the suwar. I should be memorising 1 surah fully without making any mistakes.
My mistake is that i rushed to the next surah after memorising 1 surah and not revising it frequently hence not sticking to my memory long time.
I like this videos. May Allah allow me to finish juz ammah until the end of september. And may Allah bless you for your work.
I'm a new learner of our Holy Qur'an. At first I found it hard and difficult but alhamdulilah I never quit reciting from it instead I continued even though my pronunciation was wrong but I kept repeating till I pronounced it well. I'd like to memorize each surah before I proceed to the next one. It took me a week in one surah to memorize them. Alhamdulilah the more I spent time memorizing, the more I'm in love with it by understanding what it means.
I'm 28, and tried memorizing, and was making the same mistakes you mentioned. Jazakillah Khair, I'll have different mindset from now on inshallah.

Slmalkm Ustadh, i always looked at the encyclopedia of Siyar Alam Nubala as a very difficult and impossible task...but following your text mashala quite manageable. Is it an easy text to read for those who have studied, spent eg 1year in egypt and be reasonably grounded in Nahw? Jzk kh
Walaykum Salam, most classical texts use a lot of difficult words. But you can read it by looking up words you don't know. If you find it difficult move on to an easier book and then come back when you have more vocabulary.
Jzk kh Shiekh. The copy you have mashala not too much dense writing on a single page. I feel that really helps!

Bhai. In another video you posted, I quote .... our time is limited.. so base on this. We cannot take our life time into memorising. 2 days ago a brother passed on. He was healthy and talking with the jammah during margib prayers the night before. So time is limited. And ofc the 2nd half of the sentence in ur previous videos says " wasting time on arguing with fools" which is a good advice in saving time and energy and to channel in the right way. Both said. I very much enjoy ur videos.

The point is to take your time to memorize thoroughly rather than rushing to finish. It is better to die with a portion of the Quran firmly in your heart than to have memorized the Quran and forgotten.

Can you please advise the method to revise if i have memorised 7 Juz. (28,29,30,1,2,3,4)
Sit down and revise what you have memorized, at least 3 juz per day, by reading, that's more than enough.
Allocate Juz 30 for your fajr prayer. After you perfect the larger surahs of 30 juz, then add the last Quarter of juz 29 and continue till you have perfected them. Then repeat the same until you include 29 entirely. After having recited 29 juz and the first half of 30 Juz, leave 30 juz for Zuhr or Asr or Isha. Fajr should now include the last quarter of juz 28 and you know the rest.
As for the first 4 juz, Allocate an hour of your day to revise them. Maybe 1st half of 1st juz. Then combine it with the second half. The more you recite, the easier it gets and ideally you should target to picturize the page you're reciting.
