- Executive Council of Australian Jewry Co-CEO Alex Ryvchin has called on Labor Senator Fatima Payman to “resign” for her “really unforgivable” use of the pro-Palestine ‘from the river to the sea’ chant.
“I think [Anthony Albanese] needs to ask [Senator Payman] to apologise or retract or resign if she’s not capable of doing that,” Mr Ryvchin told Sky News host Steve Price.
“It’s an extraordinary thing that she did.
“To have a federal Senator using her position to … urge the destruction of Israel, which is what that slogan means - it’s really unforgivable.
“She needs to resign … or, at least, take significant steps to atone for what she did.”
Senator Payman should be sacked.She is divisive ,disloyal to Australia.
