- To some, it looks as though Israel has become a rogue state, bombing whomever they please. There is however a sound strategy behind this and it is one which benefits this country.

It doesn't take a super brain to know that we are as safe from an Iran with nuclear capability as Iran is safe from us, who already have it. It might well be the only thing to bring stability to the region (yes, it is ironic that you need the deterrent in order to keep alive the scientists who are working on providing it).
The UK government acts quickly and harshly over very minor things, but is slow and weak over the important things.

I am a Muslim with different worldviews from 99.99% of muslims and live in Iraq. I don't want muslims to move to the West because Islam is an unreformed religion, which means sunni and shia beliefs and practices are the same as they were 1400 years ago. What prevents them from practising those things they did in their caliphate is that the benevolent supreme, nice, beautiful, and moral West would stop them, and if the west becomes full of them who is going to protect the world and earth and the universe?. I agree to an extent, but Iran getting nuclear weapons is part of the strategy that they are so bad no one wants to use them, It gives the countries with them a sense of untouchability, North Korea would have fallen years ago if it had not have had nukes.

Libya, Syria, Iraq all fell into the trap of dismantling their nuclear, chemical or ballistic weapons programs in return for lifting crippling Western sanctions. Then waddya know - they get invaded. Who would have thought? North Korea has had the good sense to resist the trap and has sealed itself off from Western interference.
Iran is a different kettle of fish from N Korea. The latter are "supported" by China and Russia but only like someone says they support a football team, but never goes to see them. In reality, China and Russia see N Korea as nutters and more to be pitied.
Iran however is an ally of Russia. So this is why Israel and the west have tiptoed around them by attacking their proxies instead.

The last time south Yemen was in any kind of good shape was when we ran Aden. They were rich and peaceful until the 'nationalist' terrorists arrived from Egypt. You can thank the French government for giving Iran nuclear technology. As a student at Grenoble University in 1978 I was pally with a group of charming and hospitable Iranians who were studying at Grenoble's Centre for Nuclear Studies at the invitation of the French Government. They were all clever guys and very hard working.
I find it increasingly hard to believe that Iran has not got nuclear weapons already. They are very good engineers and have strong ties with other nuclear armed countries as well.

There is also very little evidence that Moses ever existed.
What is likely is that Jew's left Egypt in dribs and drabs over a number of years and eventually had sufficient numbers in the Levant to take over the region.
