I don't do much commercial work either, but I hate to say no to people so things like this really aren't that hard. I now buy continuous hinges online and always keep one in stock. You'd be amazed where you can use these things. Thanks for watching.
What hinge is this? Curious if this is a surface mount, half-mortise, etc. I am still trying to figure everything out. I'm new to commercial door frames.
it's a continuous hinge. Like a beefy piano hinge. Surface mount on frame and door. They are very forgiving and fairly easy to install if you follow the sequence shown in the video. Thanks for watching.
Great knowledge you are sharing, thank you.
Very few people work on doors or share the knowledge so I'm happy to share my experiences. Glad you found it useful and thanks for watching.
Great video! Thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed. A fun day with my daughter helping me during Covid. Thanks for watching.
I don't do much commercial, but maybe I will after watching these videos. Thanks for the education.

What sadist put those old hinges on with slotted screws? 😅
Haaaa. My thoughts exactly. These old doors from the 70s are filled with those. Thanks for watching.
Where can I buy this hinge. Thank you.
Amazon has them up to 84", and for 95" I use buydoorhardwarenow.com. I'm not affiliated with either or those sites. Thanks for watching
