Google intentional communities to get started leaning about the hundreds of intentional communities here in the US but there are many hundreds more around the world. I’ve lived and visited several. They each are defined by their own collective values and guidelines so one can, with some effort, find something close to your own thinking and priorities. Most require you to live with them on a temporary basis before making any commitment to give each party a chance to see if it’s a good fit. Some are structured like what you are suggesting, others structured differently. Lots of possibilities out there. Good luck. And I agree with you, living in an intentional community is truly a healthier choice as far as life choices go for any number of reasons going far beyond just the practical.
I was just sharing in a chat about something similar. I've been interested in conscious communities & different ways of living ever since I was a kid & more directly ever since I stopped eating animals. Vegetarians have been onto this concept eons ago. I've checked out a few intentional communities... Mexico has lots of variations on intentional communities.... Killaloe Ontario has some interesting communities--many initiated by U.S. Viet draft dodgers, including geodesic domes... In the U.S. there are barter communities, "spiritual" communities ... Europe (TerraNova in Portugal comes to mind). India has many... including one I want to check out that has 3000+ members from all over the world & you don't need money to live there, they have a skills exchange system. Toronto has had co-ownership meetings to work out ideas & plans for at least a couple decades. Toronto island community has "Sunshine" retirement community Freedom Cells network has been around for some time. Their model is based upon 8+ people. Not sure why you called it "MY intentional community idea"? Happy to hear more people are catching on!! 😊
Ever consider Puerto Rico? I've been interested in this idea for some time. I've been wanting to get together a bunch of artists of all kinds. Create art and sell locally. Grow our own food etc. Great weather here, beaches, rain forest. This world needs a peaceful place.

Hi Guy
I'm very interested in this plan👍

I'm trying the same thing but 45 minutes west of Ottawa. Especially if they are snowbirds
Not sure where my comment went.
Awesome idea. I’ll send you a fb DM with my info. 👏❤️
