  • There are two things you can do in the space between stories: nothing, or something. The danger is to, out of urgency or fear, keep doing what you have been doing in the old story.

It is rare to find both a clear, brilliant, open mind and a truly compassionate and intuitive heart in one human being. I am so grateful for you, Charles, and the message you have to share with the world. Keep using your voice and your action for global transformation...it's happening, and you are playing a part. What a gift!

If this guy solved your problems, then they could not have been that serious in the first place. He is a charlatan, pseudointellectual, hipster doofus, and a goon.

After too many years of unhappy employment went self employed a year ago. Financially maybe not the smartest move but the Best thing I ever did! I am fully alive again!

One friend told me something I always remembered, and it is to simply do what I'm *drawn to,* from which it follows to honor innate resistance, and balk at what repels me. It's that simple. For example, if some course of action keeps coming into my mind, roll with it. Sometimes I just embrace the uncertainty, let the "right brain" do its thing, and ideas arise naturally. Or I encounter something, and am instantly drawn to it. Sometimes things call for quick action, without the luxury of any opportunity to mull them over, but those situations are often the *easiest,* acting on instinct as a matter of course.

Agreed. Either, we abandon this land in opposition of the organized forces against thriving, abundant life for all, or we enter these questions in deep, heart-filled truth and love to overwhelm the narrow-minded policy-makers, bureaucrats, and lobbyists with a massive movement into the beautiful world our hearts know is possible.

im currently between stories. 28, coder burnout. i suddenly see how the entire world is absurd. it's incredible. it's hard to live in a different world, especially with all the massive wounds the old one left. without people like Charles, there's no chance i would survive this alone. i'm feeling rebellious, like never before. let's see how this plays out

I was a corporate change agent that pushed too hard to go too far with systemic reforms, and the system more or less rejected me, I became tired and burned out. I wish I had had you as a career coach back then to better understand the dynamics. really good talk.

I used to believe we were all in this together, working for a better future for all. Peace on earth, ending homelessness, starvation, curing cancer etc. It is very clear to me now that those motives do not exist. Our tax dollars are only used to spread the things I want to eliminate.
Knowing this I am ok with the opinions of ignorant onlookers. Few of us have jobs that actually benefit society. Material "stuff" means little to me next to great food and family. I'm proud of myself for leaving a small imprint on this planet and teaching old ways and modest living to my community.

    • @klinegallery1204

But those motives do exist! One person at a time. Carry that hope within yourself, like the old saying goes...be the change you want to see.

That just highlights the hyper-materialist worldview we were programmed into. I believe people crave these kinds of ideas and their emptiness will eventually draw them to people like Charles. Sometimes they need exposure. We are waking up.

I f being not awakened going to get me ruined then to be awake is not an option .Who am I? The most important question Our previous investments do not give us a freedom of choice ,we can clearly see this now, information about the consequences of our actions are not enough for most of us to make a different choice .Yes period of unlearning that is what we need. I wish we could be working on real communities where economy would not be forcing us to repeat the same patterns.

Reminds of that scene from Seinfeld where Jerry tells Elaine to make her book interesting, and Elaine gets that woke look and says "YES! People love interesting writing." The danger of doing something when you're not sure what to do is that you may live in the real world where resources are limited, and you don't want to get yourself into a deeper hole.
